I had an 11, 12 and now a 17. I use the 12k lb ramps. No jacking or tire removal. I use a small bucket (just for oil) under the car for drainage (your green one is nice but mines was 2 bucks at family dollar) and I toss the filter in the drain pan I keep next to the wheel. The 11 n 12 had no cover over the pan but I love how you remove 3 clips n pull it forward 👍. One big thing I recommend is removing the oil filler cap b4 or in the process of draining so gravity can aid in a faster n more thorough oil drain.
Those ramps are nice and really can make life easy. Eventually I’ll pick some up for the cobra. I found that the metal pans at the grocery store (the thanksgiving turkey ones) are great too. I have one for radiator flushes and it works great. Opening the oil fill cap first definitely makes it faster
C'mon, you don't even indicate what the torque should be on the drain plug, or if there is a crush washer...?? Maybe I missed this part. I have a 2003 Acura TL Type S and I don't have to remove any of these plastic flaps to get to the filter or the drain plug..... I can't believe how difficult they make a simple oil change.... Another rip-off by the manufacturers. I don't even have to jack my car up OR take off the RF tire. I do an oil change and filter in 15 minutes..... I think I will keep my 2003 Acura forever.... screw all of this nonsense...
The car calls for 0w 20
I used my original nissan maxima jack , instead of the jackstand. And it help me change my car oil

I agree with you on the complexity of the change and added work. I’ve just done hand tight with no added washers or anything. 166k miles as of today
