Thanks so much for this video. I have a 2018 Maxima and was able to fix what I needed because of this video. I had my car parked with the bumper just slightly above the sidewalk. I picked up a few friends which made the car heavier. While backing out I heard a loud scraping and popping sound. It literally sounded like my bumper fell off but upon giving it a quick glance, it was still in place. A day or two later, my front passenger parking sensor was beeping intermittently despite there being no obstructions in front of it. I took a closer look and noticed that both my parking sensor and the fog light below it had come off their housing. This video undoubtedly saved me hundreds of dollars as I was able to remove the bumper myself, reattach the fog light onto its assembly, and stick the parking sensor back on. Something to note that I did not see in your video is that my car had a styrofoam buffer in between the bumper and the steel frame of the car. So when I removed the bumper, it fell out. Something to keep an eye on for those of you planning to remove the bumper. Thanks again for the video!
Finally ! Someone doing a maxima ... Hey man thanks for uploading this vid... I hit a deer and it destroyed only my front grille and I’m actually replacing it today myself... this vid was definitely a blessing !

FYI...U didn't mention anything about the sensors needing to be unplugged, or the foam & flaps inside. Or the wiring needing to be removed from the foglight housing. Luckily, I was smart and patient enough to figure it out. Maybe do an edited vid, adding those lil tidbits. Us amateurs need all the help we can get from those much more knowledgeable and qualified, that's why we're on here in the 1st place
Anyone if you are looking to do this to just reattach your foglight that may be loose you can take off just that first bolt on each side of the bumper and the end of the splash guard on each side. This should allow you to stick a skinny arm in there enough to reattach it. The bumper will pull off up to the middle grill after removing just that single bolt on each side of it. It will take some twisting and turning for each part you may need to get attached. I had one side that was quick and easy and the other took about 20 minutes to get entirely attached. The clip closest to the middle on the foglight is the most difficult imo but it was the last one I did. I had to lift the bumper up as i pulled the arm of the foglight towards me and push both together at the same time. You'll know you got it on these clips when you hear it pop in place. They do not all have to be reattached at the same time. Do one at a time with the limited space you're working with. Of course it will be easier to attach if you wind up deciding to remove the entire bumper.
@@L0w5ive I wish you the best of luck. One issue I did have is with what the bumper clips into. My buddy was a little aggressive on his side after removing the bolt so by bumper never sat back properly and would slide off on that side so be careful with that aspect. Thankfully I sold it a year ago so its someone else's problem now 🤣
I removed my '17's bumper to put LED's in the fogs and LED high beams in the headlights. It isn't that bad to get the bumper off at all, just take your time and keep stuff organized in order you took it off to put it all back on again. I also had no help but I did drop the bumper onto a big piece of bed topper foam to cushion it and keep it from getting scratched. You also may be horrified to see how unsubstantial a modern car is in the front end and why it's so easy to damage one in a front end collision, almost nothing there.

Are those replacement lights CAPA or after market and have you had any issues with them if they are after marke? Especially fitting. Made that look easy. Did you record the re-install of the bumper? I am trying to replace the low beam bulb with a new LED bulb, but I cant get access to the low beam bulb, only the high beam. Will removing the bumper than the light allow me to access the low beam bulb?

From seeing this video, I don't see anything else holding up the light but the bumper. Is that the case? Would I have to get a whole knew bumper? I have not had a wreck or anything, so not sure why it fell down. I didn't realize there wasn't a bracket holding it in until your video. I was just going to buy a new fog light assembly. I have a 2018, but I believe it is built the same.
You don't have to actually remove the bumper. Just remove the screws from the side you need to work on and all the bottom screws.There is enough of play in the Bumper to access the headlight screws without lifting the bumper completely off..when putting the head,ight back ,if someone is available they can just pull the bumper out slightly to allow access. Before you reassemble plug the light socket in to be sure the new or repaired unit works.

If you still have the bracket you could just jbweld it or plastic weld it
