To get to play my childhood game (that being Star Wars Battlefront II) again on my PS5, is just MIND-BLOWING! I thought we would NEVER see these wonderful games again, but, here we are! I’ll be playing the first game though for the first time, as I NEVER played the first original game. I played the second game on my PS2 a LOT when I was younger, so, I’m going to put a LOT of hours into these games!

I believe that the reason they are doing this is to test to see if the battlefront name is still popular. Obviously we the fans know it is, and we want a battlefront 3 more than any other star wars game, but maybe LucusFilm are doing this just to see if the battlefront series is still popular amongst the fans and they want to see if this will make money.
It does, and people react positively come launch, then LucusFilm could possibly put resources into making a battlefront 3.

So besides heros vs villians on all maps for battlefront 2, this won't be adding anything else new to battlefront 2? Because those 4 maps and 2 new heroes are on Xbox backwards compatible version

I'll just wait until they remake the newer Star Wars Battlefront games. I can still find games in the newest Star Wars Battlefront 2 game and it has way better graphics and 120 FPS mode.
