The brushes made with blue filaments were very common, regardless of which gas stations used that particular automatic car wash! In some cases, the brushes were the same colors as the gas station logos!

Filament brushes were eventually replaced by the closed foam cell brushes, which are supposed to be much better for the car's paint!
Just looked at google maps. The filament brushes were replaced with red foambrite :(

Isn't filament not as safe from other cloth? I'm not saying it isn't safe but still
this car wash machine has been removed, probably getting replaced. On Google Maps, the bay is empty.
