I’m glad I watched the video first. Now I will not be getting this. Hide the OG shifter under the console? That’s ghetto. $279 and I still have to Jimmy rig it?
Before I dremel it can someone advise how the eff to remove the white electrical connector from the black bracket that's molded to the shifter boot? Always skipped in every video and the included instructions just say to "remove it". Any help would be appreciated.
That looks nice. *types in google in new window tab to find and buy shifter, while video is still playing* 7:00 mark "Wait i have to do what... ...? Never mind" *closes new window tab*
I got this for my 2019 and love it, BUT - why in the world they don't sell it with the real wood grips is beyond me! The black ones are UGLY, freezing cold in the winter and ROASTING hot in the summer. I will say that the extra weight really improves the shift feel - the stock shifter feels really floppy compared to this.
Why are people making a big deal out of hiding the old knob? It's really not that big of a deal. It's to keep the dash from saying "service shifter" all the time Y'all need to grow up
Shop this Hurst Pistol Grip Shifter! : muscle.am/3JwQNsS
When he hid that old shifter knob hurt my heart
Why doesn’t Hurst make the cord as well vs. having to plug old on in and hide it🧐
For $300, it damn well should!
Would've been cool if it had the led gear letters like the OEM one does.
Does this work for a 2017 auto charger?
Well, ole school sayin, reminds me of an ole "Earl Scheib's paint job". The tuck & hide the OEM handle, made me crack my 8th beer & move on!!

Where do you hide the factory shifter in 22 challenger? It’s lame that you have to do that

Kind of annoying that they show a charger and not a challenger
I need to find a wood pistol grip like the old school for my auto Challenger
Looks slick. Plan to do this with my 22 Hellcat next weekend. Thx for the vided!
Thanks for watching! -Zach

Beauty is pain, right? -Zach
@@AmericanMuscleDodge but beauty isn't everything...
Im with you, $200 and istill have plug in my old shifter knob, then hide it on top of that... Sounds like an incomplete piece
Well fuck this is not showing the 2015 and up challenger instal. Some one make a video for the correct Challenger please.
Leaving the OEM one banging around in there is a total fail…. Hard Pass!
There is a small set screw included that is totally pointless. Otherwise, easy install and it looks nice on my ‘16 Hellcat
Newer model install video would be nice.
200+ and not a direct replacement. Lmao! No way.
Please change your title so that it indicates an auto transmission shifter install.
Professionally ghetto

Lame,,,i was gonna do it till the hid the old one lmfao

Would not let this guy install in my car. He has no clue
This isn't a Challenger.
Im sure this is over 100 for you to just hide the stock one and still drive a automatic boat 😂😭
yea it feels like an automatic boat...then shift to m mode...
