Now this is grilled cheese for grownups! Love that you used pepper jack cheese. My last one was made with garden tomatoes, fresh mozzarella slices and basil. I should have used mayo to grill the bread but didn't think of it. Thanks for sharing a great sandwich idea! 🥰

I would have never thought to put the mayo on the outside of the bread as the cooking surface...and the other side has no mayo but is placed downward onto the melted butter in the frying pan.....and above all you didn,t burn your sandwich which is what I often end up doing...and than I have to scrape off the burnt part!
