    Funky, the Gays have re-defined “their” feminity for themselves not for us.
    We are not trying to prove to ANYONE that we are woman or feminine so we have no desire to be so “Extra” with who we are
    Claudia spoke on it so very well👏🏽
    We are different and both should be respected

    • @BD1CHIC
      @BD1CHIC 2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      I agree, I feel like in the process of trying to perfect their niche as gay people they feel like they have to erase the definition of woman or a woman in the process And I also think that the difference between being gay in the 70s 80s or 90s is not only the environment being different but until RuPaul it was really odd or gimmicky to see a man fully done up like a woman or carrying any part of femininity in their every day life. Like when I was growing up I never knew anyone that I know today to be gay to be someone who was ultra feminine or participated in glam during that time unless they were going out to their type of club late at night in a dark somewhere on the weekend . But now it’s become an every day way for them. So we went from the gay community only dabbling in 15% to 20% of our consumer market to like 60% gay to 40% women or if not 50/50.

      That's why I stopped hanging with gays because they just used us to get in spaces that men didn't want them around probably because they were down low. I had three gay men come after me because the men that they liked were wanting me and I was laughing and joking with the gays because they make you laugh and then they turned on me because the men they wanted.... wanted me and after that I never hung with gay men again.

It didnt start that way, it started with the boys mimicking the girlies, but then somehow social media and fashion turned the tables around. So in my opinion, its a two way street but if I had to choose I d say the guys copied the women and thats that on that. But spoke truth to power??? Lmao amber heard headass.

    Letting kids decide to alter their body at such a young age is ludicrous. When I was a pre-teen I LOVED running and playing with the boys and when I started to get breasts I cried because the boys noticed and I just wanted to be a boy (because it meant i could climb trees and go topless). Now I am a woman as I was born, married, having my first child and love being every bit of a woman I am. What if my mom came to me in that moment and asked me if I " feel like I should be a boy?" It's not a simple decision and has lasting impact. Funky's response of "well your gonna have to deal with the consequences" to someone with regrets... though understandable, proves that CHILDREN should not be able to make choices that will leave lasting consequences. It's why we make them go to high school at least...it's why we don't let them choose what they want to eat for every meal ... chicken nuggets and ice cream... its too great a decision for someone who needs to be told to sleep at night so you don't feel tired in the morning. We protect kids until they're of age to protect themselves. Same goes for big decisions.

Fast forward to my 33rd year I absolutely love my DDs and me being a sensual woman that still is true to her “boyish” side. Being a beautiful androgynously styled woman basically. If my mom would have let me decide to choice during my insecure and confused phase i would have regretted it. I have always looked to her as an example of true womanhood. If I’m going to take queues off someone for feminine behavior I’m looking at women like my mom, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Viola Davis, Corretta Scott King and even Beyoncé to influence my femininity, not men in nails and lashes. No disrespect, I’m just saying.

      I hope she gets well too, I understand people feel away about her but I think in her mind she was supposed to retire and spend the rest of her life enjoying it with her husband. Thats where my empathy lies with her. Even thou she divorced him I think deep down she didn't want to and Kevin protected her for many years. I'm sure it feels like the rug has been pulled from up under her feet. It's hard to watch someone you love go make a life with someone else while trying to keep your own life together. I do pray she doesn't continue to resort to old toxic habits and she gets better whether mentally or physically. I have heard she may do podcasting which she was great in radio so she might do well.

    Thank you Claudia for always being honest standing the ground on behalf of women! Thank you to Funky Dineva for providing a good laugh and the insightful perspective of the LGBTQ+ community. And thanks to Al for always coming through with political, legal, and factual information. Such a great trio!
    Now on the topic of TRUMP. I am so SICK of this man. Like sit TF down. 🙄 I’m so glad Al said that about Trump. I remember I moved to a VERRYYY rural area of South Carolina. I was probably the only black person for miles until the next big town (which was a little over an hour away). I remember when the racial tensions were at an all time high (summer 2020), and these local young men and boys would ride around with big lifted trucks, giant Trump 2020 flags attached to their trucks alongside giant confederate flags. They would just drive in circles around the town and this parking lot (that I worked at….at NIGHT). Drinking beers and shouting, yelling. I asked my coworkers about it and they were so nonchalant like “yeah this is their meetup spot on Fridays”. Like it was normal! After seeing that, following the death of Ahmaud Arbery, and an old white man calling me the n-word at work….I DIPPED. I wasn’t even there for six months. I turned right back around and went home. I was only there to attend a school program. I was surprised at how….behind the times they were. And the FEW black ppl that I saw talked as if they were also behind the times! It was truly sad. So yeah, EFF Trump. He had these ppl out here losing their ever lasting mind under his presidency. Have several seats Trump.

As the conversation revealed, piss poor behavior isn't a result of identity, it's absolutely a matter of integrity. Hello Al, Claudia, and Q. I am a nurse that specializes mostly with Mental Health. Dementia is pre onset Alzheimer’s. It’s not as aggressive but there are different types. Short term and Long term. Short term is when people forget in a small amount of time. For example: walking in the kitchen and forgetting what for, burning food that was forgetten, forgetfulness while driving, todays date. Long term is when they forget facts that they have known for their entire life like maybe kids names, what city they live in, and etc.
    When it comes to Wendy, from my experience, it is because it is easy to not only spend frivolously (by forgetting she already bought the item) but also to protect from fraud.
