Greetings from Los Angeles, California. I'm in my 70's and started playing golf in my teens. If I had to do it all over again, I would have worn UV protection clothing. Long sleeve shirts not short sleeve. No shorts. Wide brim hats (think Tom Kite) not no hat or those duck bills. As a result of NOT wearing UV sun blocking clothing, I have had numerous skin cancer operations on my head, neck, arms and legs. You can thank me later and hit em straight.
For me, dressing appropriately is fun but its also setting a standard of respect for myself. Respecting myself is respecting the game as well. Playing well or playing poorly it just reminds me to not he throwing hissy fits or acting a fool when you are dressed properly. Doesn't need to be "formal" for golfwear, but it still applies to the shorts and sneakers. Color coordination and just... generally not looking like a slob. It definitely helps the mental when you dress for an occasion. Any occasion in life.
“Leave the sporty golf shoes behind” says the guy with 5 Nike boxes right beside him 🤣🤣. While I’m clearly #TeamNike I definitely won’t deny how amazing a nice pair of FJ Premiers look. Definitely agree that keeping whatever footwear you have clean is an absolute MUST.
Agree with all your points 👌🏻, although that pic of JT was not his best look in my opinion 😂. Just got 3 pairs of footjoys from Amazon after you posted on instagram saying there was a sale cheers. Inbetween sizes though so went smaller gotta break them in a bit
No worries! Appreciate you hitting those links! They help the channel out. Also I won't be posting links if I don't think the price is worth it! Thanks for watching!
Yeah white shoes and white socks but depends on the pant colour, not with black not with navy. Definitely prefer the low sock with pants when the weather is warmer. May have to do a separate video on shorts styling!
@@TheGolfFashionGuy Yes I agree. White socks only with light colors. Low socks or invisible socks with pants or shorts when it’s hot. I am waiting for your next video.
For some reason I am not buying golfwear such as specific pants or polo shirts. Shoes, specific golf socks, a leather glove (plus rain gloves, and gloves for the winter), rain clothing, warm clothing for the winter is what I need for golf. Sometimes specific golfwear is not really nice.
I have to disagree, I love specific golf clothing. It’s come a long way in the last 10 years, plenty of options and some at some good prices as well but completely understand that might not be everyone’s opinion. Thanks for watching! 👍

Love it. Great content as always! New socks needed. Any recommendations for a thicker padded sock that still looks smart?
Been getting into my Stance socks at the minute! The Sport model is very nice!
This video is great, just started playing a few weeks ago, in love with the sport just couldn’t figure out the style
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching! 👍

I like it man! I like that train of thought! 🙌
Love the channel! Keep it up!!
Thank you man! Appreciate that! Thanks for taking time out of your day to watch and comment! 🙏
Finally a golfer with more golf shoes than me.
😂 that’s only the half of it!

Yes I do own a few pairs of ‘sporty’ shoes! Maybe more than a few! 😂 Definitely a time and a place for them!
Belt ,shoes , and hat should match. Most golfers don't understand this

In summer time, white golf shoes with white golf socks, no?
It also depends of the color of your pants, or your bermudas when it's hot.

Really Good so I’m laughing because I’m fat and I don’t think anyone will see my belt however I always wear black belt
You forgot to say to keep your frayed jumbo chords tucked inside your woolly socks 🤣
😂😂😂
More fabric! Wear what you like, respectfully.
Thanks for watching! 🙌
