Completely love watching you guys. Found your channel yesterday and have watched a few videos and completely love your energy. This one excited me because you were in Boston. I live in Plymouth and always good to see someone you’re a fan of is nearby. Lol. I’m looking to my son going to college so I can build my van and travel everywhere. The first one I watched was the stuff they don’t tell you in vanlife and you guys are so real.
Beautiful time of year to be in Boston or any place north! We're in northern Wisconsin for summer fun now...crisp, clear, clean and natural. Recharge our batteries. Enjoy your vaca without your base traveler...Life is good! 😊😊😊😊from Wisconsin! 🍻
This was an awesome video as usual. This is just what I needed. In my time of grief. You guys never disappoint. I can’t wait for the next adventures. I’m looking forward to it. Excellent work guys my cup runneth over. Love and hugs.❤❤❤🌎🌎🌎🐈⬛🐈🐾👍👍👍
Canadian here 🇨🇦 My HAPPIEST place on earth is Waterton in Glacier International Peace Park in Alberta! It is sooo beautiful! It's in the Rockies and the lake and surroundings are truly a hidden gem! We camped there many times growing up, hiked up the waterfall, fly- fished in the streams, and rode tandem bikes around the (then car- free village) Its been many years since I've been there, and I'm sure it's changed, but I know it's still beautiful! I'm unable to really travel anymore, due to my arthritis and fibro, which is the reason I started watching you guys. I get to travel vicariously ❤ Being able to see Waterton again would be so absolutely epic!!
Hi, I’m a new subscriber and from Pennsylvania. But years ago I went to college in Alberta Canada (Prairie College, Three Hills Alberta Canada). While there, I had the privilege to go to Banff & Lake Louise, so that’s my Canada suggestion for you. I’m 84 and have strong faith so I will be praying for your safety. God bless! Love your program. Carol Mason
Just recently discovered you guys! Love living vicariously through you. Wishing you continuing safe and fun travels. Our two fur children (Chip and Dale) also send their best to Brady and Bailey.
Excited for you. Hope the Ekko repairs go well and the wave of Ekko recalls & issues finally begins to subside. As long time Winnebago owners ('17K Travato), we were very interested in switching to an Ekko. The more I learn about Ekko owner experiences though, the more we love our dependable pre-c*vid Travato. Enjoy the cruise! We had planned an Alaskan Inside Passage/Denali cruise from Vancouver in 2020. Our very first cruise ever. Of course, that was cancelled along with everything else. We finally made it last month and it was wonderful! Have fun!
Good luck with the repairs. Show me around Boston! I've never been there! That crispy dog would be my choice. We've been on an Alaskan cruise. Loved it!
My husband and I drove from California to Illinois once. I will live vicariously through you all. We could not do it, but you are doing it for us. LOL.
If you’re going to Calgary, don’t miss Lake Louise. We’ve traveled a lot of places and I’ve got to say that the Banff area and Lake Louise is probably the prettiest place we’ve ever been!! That blue water and those mountains and trees and then the glaciers, like wow!! 😊
Dawson Creek BC. It’s huge with history and beauty. Also called the AlCan. It’s mile zero on the Alaska highway. Take a peek at what it’s about and if you come this far north I would be more than happy to meet for a coffee and a chat! 🇨🇦
You scared me with that title! Glad you’re not giving up VanLife😊 I have about 42-43 months months until I can get out there. Will be watching for ya’ll to post once you get the warrantee’d stuff done!
Also, The Garden of One Thousand Buddhas and Montana Stonehenge are not to be missed! You'll pass Montana Stonehenge as you go through Eureka into Canada. It's a hidden gem.
I SO hope for the best for your family😍! I've becone addicted to vicarious adventures and Joy with you all. This world needs more of people like you(and children) forwarding positive! Much Love💝💯♾️
When you come through Washington State you have to do the North Cascade Loop with stops in Leavenworth, Winthrop, camping at Baker Lake, take a detour up 549 to the Mt. Baker ski area for views of both Mt. Baker (which is a cascades volcano that let's off steam now and then) and Mt. Shuksan. I live in the foothills off 549 (Kendall). Then head over to Semiahmoo or Birch Bay to watch the sunset.
Great video, misleading headline. I usually don't watch the "I" titled videos because I enjoy you two as a couple. Hope you have wonderful trip. Cruising is the best.
That water going to Canada can be really choppy. Never get me on a cruise again. I thought husband is from Boston and wife is a 'desert 🌹' from Nevada. You're just adorable!!!
Canada here in the house! Make sure you visit Northern Ontario in the summer - specifically the Muskokas, which is probably the most premiere cottage country in North America
Banff & Jasper national parks are the best. & the icefield parkway is the best way to see both parks. Waterton lakes national park is a must see as well.
Solo female traveler. I decided on a smaller 5th wheel to accommodate....my pets! 3 cats, one German shepherd, and one human full-time 5th wheel + Ford F150. Heaven.
The cruise 🛳 sounds awesome!! I will never be on a cruise in person, because I get motion sickness even in a huge van. And so...yeah I get to cruise vicariously with you!!! Ty 😊
Sorry to hear about your motion sickness, we worry about that too, especially if the seas get choppy. Have you tried to take something for it like Dramamine?
I could tolerate Dramamine when younger, but either they've changed the formula over the past fourty years or my system changed 🤷♀️ Smooth sailing ⛵️ for you I pray 🙏🏼
Canadian here. The best drive in Alberta is the highway from Banff to Jasper and to the Columbia Icefields. Gorgeous, breathtaking around ever corner. If you make it to Saskatchewan, the Qu’pelle Valley is nice. This province has the most bird sanctuaries of anywhere. The Okanogan area of British Columbia is amazing. And if you are in BC for cherry and peach season, they are second to none! If you make it to the East Part of Canada, the Cape Breton trail (300kms), is stunning. Ontario has thousands of lakes. You have to visit the Hopewell Rocks in New Brunswick. You walk the ocean floor at low tide. This is the highest tide anywhere in the world. It, too, is breathtaking! And there is a campground 1 km away! We have a Roadtrek van. If you go to Quebec, I recommend driving the North Shore. Absolutely gorgeous and you miss all the summer construction. And of course, Prince Edward Island. If you like seafood, make time for a lobster supper. Hope all goes well with the warranty work. Stay safe! 😁🇨🇦👍🏻
Nice video. Right now in Banff and Lake Louise Alberta its snowing, their having a snow storm but it still beautiful there you will enjoy it. Looking forward to your adventures. Take care Karen from Canada.
Enjoy the cruise and can't wait to see y'all on the road again. I have been on a cruise ship to the Bahamas five days from Charleston SC Carvial Fastasy. God bless always Baltimore MD 🙏
Reading the title of this video, I know I just can’t watch it. I can’t handle the emotional turmoil of your goodbye message. I wish you the best of luck in whatever adventures you have in the future
You will enjoy your trip to Canada. Banff and Jasper are beautiful. Icefields Parkway - eye candy. So much to do - Lake Louise, lake Moraine, Bow Lake, Crowfoot Glacier, Herbert Lake, Maligne Canyons, Athabasca Falls to name a few. Enjoy your cruise.
Thanks so much Diana, we hope we get back on the road so soon too! In the meantime, we have a lot of fun adventures planned outside of our van that we are excited to share with you!
My recommendation for dinner in Calgary, Ten Foot Henry. Enjoy the cacio e pepe, and really all of their sharable plates. I detoured a trip to the Northwest Territories from New Jersey just to go back there.
For the Canadian trip. Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller, Alberta. The town of Nelson, BC in Kootenay region. Wine country in the Okanagan area of BC. Barkerville, BC centre of the gold rush. I hope Desert Snow keeps surprises to a minimum of $$
New Sub....love your channel, as you showed up on my suggestion list. My hubby & I bought our new 2022 travel trailer last July. We are full time RVers. We spent the winter boondocking throughout the Idaho winter. We are visiting his family in Northern Utah.....then off to Tennessee. Yeah! Thank you both for your humor and honesty. ❤
Thank you sooo much for the wonderful adventures! Love you two, will keep tuned in. Whatever you do will be exciting, looking forward to new experiences!!
Those dogs looked great, but you forgot to mention the superior New England hot dog rolls! Enjoy the cruise. Can’t wait to hear all about it. From a cape cod fan,😉.
I feel the same way. And we just got our Pully RV in March. We live in a gated lot which cost about the same as renting our house. Our house was on 2 acres four bedroom for seven years
So excited for your first adventure on a cruise. I was all set to go then Covid changed plans quick! Thank you in advance for sharing your experience. I’m also a long time Boston native with 2 cats, my boys. My dream is retire early and bring them with my husband and I. You give me hope that it’s doable. Enjoy your channel 👏💯🙌🏻
Sorry to hear Desert Snow is in the shop, but it is too small an RV for you. Not space-wise. Weight-wise and engine size is just too small. That V6 is just too small and has to work too hard for that size a vehicle and cargo. With everything you carry around, it’s also over the vehicle weight limit, which is hard on brakes and suspension. You should consider getting a slightly larger RV with a V8 engine and slightly more robust suspension and braking.
Think you two would love Sequoia National Park east of Fresno and Yosemite east of SF...if you travel on Hiway 120 east to get to Yosemite I live one mile south of 120. Then there is wine country going north through California to Oregon. Enjoy your cruise!!
HI guys. Love your videos, but it seems lately the headlines are kinda negative. Makes me think you are sad about the rv life until I watch it. Would like to see some more positive headlines. Anyway l love your videos You guys are such a great team. Kinda funny sometimes, make it worth watching. Luv ya.
When you head North, you need to go to Central Oregon and check out the whole area and if you get there end of July, beginning of August, the Deschutes County Fair is going on
See, I think this is a sign. It's not the end, it's just time to start the Canadian leg of your tour by means of a different style of transportation. Looking forward to your new videos.
Dave, get yourself some Lume Deoderant cream!! That stuff really works! I use it. And I use the deoderant stick, too. No smelly feet, no smelly pits. You can use on any body part. You'll love it, and so will Tanya!
If I were to do full-time van/RV life, I'd caravan with fellow puppeteers. I can imagine a traveling puppeteer troupe exploring sites during the week, and on weekends putting on marionette shows like a traveling circus, performances under a tent. A second tent would serve as a dining space; thus a traveling puppet dinner theater. I can imagine taking the show up to Canada, the Trans-Canadian Highway, Route 66, or tour the Jellystone National Parks.
That is so cool ya'll are in MA!! We are in Littleton working at a campground for the summer. It's fun to revisit my old stomping grounds, lol. Great video as always, we took the plunge to full time in the spring of 2020. We spent the first year crazy travelling and only staying in 1 place for 2 weeks then off to another place 21 states in 9 months was just a tad too quick. Now we work the seasons and explore the areas a lot more than we could in 2 weeks. Hubby retired and we hit the road, now it costs $800.00 on average to fill our tank with diesel so we stay put for longer now, only travelling 2 or 3 times a year. If you have the chance to do this lifestyle we say go for it!! You will not regret it! Those are the absolute best hot dogs, we will be loading up the freezer before we head west again in the fall!
Sure Hope you do West Coast Canada British Columbia 🇨🇦 🍁 Your going to Love it. You two are Amazing jus Love watching your Channel. Sending you Huge Hugs from ... West Coast Canada 🌿👍👍🌿
Yep, from the moment you turn the key on an RV the closer you move to disaster and financial ruin. Believe me it was much better 25 to 30 years ago, much cheaper too. I'm still living it up in Costa Rica in a 6 ved/5 bath house with 4 car garage on 23 acres for $153 a month. Something breaks down, it's the landlords ewsponsibility. If I get sick, I have 100% National Health Insurance, 100% Private health insurance and as a last resort the VA avalable to me in Panama at any hospital or clinic. And in all aspects far safer here as well as more Freedom.
OMG your first cruise your going to love it. I took my first one and now I am on number 18. I am up there in the perks. I get upgrades galore. So worth it. Have fun and enjoy.

I heard RV prices are decreasing. May be a good time to buy.
Good luck with the repairs. Show me around Boston! I've never been there! That crispy dog would be my choice. We've been on an Alaskan cruise. Loved it!
Campfire dogs need to have a hint of blackened crispy and definitely split that casing. Thank you for considering the bluebirds.
I also like my hot dogs with a bit of char! Mustard, dill relish -yum!
Can’t wait to see the cruise! It was fun. Hope all is well with Desert Snow.

It’s certainly not a hidden gem but while in Alberta you’ve got to visit Banff (townsite, hot springs, etc) and Lake Louise!
Great video, misleading headline. I usually don't watch the "I" titled videos because I enjoy you two as a couple. Hope you have wonderful trip. Cruising is the best.

There’s nothing better than a burnt hotdog. I love when it’s cooked right on the inside with a layer of char on the outside
