Oh hey I was wondering why the sudden influx of followers. Thank you for mentioning me! I would say I’m a bit more of vintage lifestyle than anything else (those hair tutorials are very few and far between). For anyone who might see this comment, I post about vintage lifestyle and housewife everything. I did a week of living like a 1950’s housewife, I post trying weird vintage recipes, vintage style, vintage adentures, thrift and vintage hauls... I don’t know. Whatever I want to post. 😂 I am also a mother and pregnant so those things often sneak in somehow.
I am impressed how well you covered all of these channels in such a short time. And I love that there are new people to discover! Also, that you know how to say Eyre properly. 😂 It’s amazing how many people are confused by that.
There are SO MANY channels about pinups and 50s and rockabilly, I wish I could see more 20s-30s-40S, or even (historically accurate) 60s 70s related channels...!!

I've been dressing vintage for about 10 years and have watched a lot of these channels along the way. I just started my own vintage/historical themed channel too! This community is hands down the best!

Agreed with this commenter totally. I super appreciate this compilation and enjoy the videos and content already out there, but I'd also love to find men who do similar for clothes sewing and styling, hair, lifestyle, etc. Maybe replying here will help me locate some.
This is a great idea 👍🏻I get fed up that even searching for terms in TH-cam more relevant small channel videos aren’t shown. I’ve just made my first tutorial and it’s given me a lot of respect for people who do regular videos, it’s a lot of effort! They deserve to at least be found if people want to watch their topic.

Julie Muniz I don’t think she deleted them; she probably just deactivated her channel temporarily. I do wish she would have given us some kind of warning, though - a lot of people are genuinely concerned. She just...vanished.
Julie Muniz To be honest I feel like she didn’t think it would be a big deal - I know she enjoys connecting with her audience but I think it’s really difficult for her to relate to the fact that people may actually care for her when they don’t know her, or even have a personal relationship with her channel. She’s very private as a person and very critical of social media overall so she probably hasn’t realized that being a TH-camr often means that you enter people’s lives in a really intimate way.

For anyone wondering, Lilly has tweeted before she deleted her account saying she was gonna take a break from social media. Although that was a while back maybe she needed a long break.
Soooo sad. I used to watch her and just found out because of your comment, which was posted 2 years ago :( Does anyone know any extremely similar channels? I will continue watching a few of the recommended in this video, but I feel like there was nobody like Lily Jarlsson. The Daily Connoisseur has a similar way of speaking/ personality, but she is more focused on the housewife lifestyle and modern and modest elegance, without any vintage.
that was 2 years ago and I still am so sad. Her vintage channel was the best. I still drink her chai tea and actually am eating her vintage no-oven meatloaf with potatoes and pees. That brings back so many memories...
I know a few people have noticed but Lily erased her online presence. I feel it's all tied back to when she said she was decluttering. I know a number of her subscribers expressed concern. And though I am 100% for letting things go, it was so sudden & large scale that I too thought it was slightly eccentric. I hope she is okay though. And that if she decides to return, that she still has copies of her amazing videos saved 😢
Julie Muniz I know right! I have actually read different opinions online. Somebody said maybe she wants to return to a modern way of dressing. Someone else suggested that maybe she and her partner broke up. It could be the relocation to a new country. I just felt that even if she didn't want to make more videos or just wanted a break, there was no need to delete the available videos. It's her right at the end of the day, I just hope she is in good health. That's the most important thing.
I'm glad more people are speaking up about this. I was incredibly confused when I couldn't find her channel or her videos anywhere. I've been trying to figure this out for a couple months (Yes, I really loved her channel), and I'm only now realizing that other people noticed her absence as well. I was really concerned over the fact that she deleted everything. It's okay if she wished for a break from the media, but was it really necessary to disappear without a word? So much as a good-bye, nor an explanation? I would have appreciated it if she had at least left her videos available for those who wished to continue to view them. However, if something serious happened we don't or can't know about, then that is a whole other story, and stems nothing but concern from me and her fans. I truly wish she is okay, and if she is, I hope she says something soon, because I am very worried and confused.

Nena Moreno, good for those with curly thick textured hair and also who have long hair. She's also a bilingual channel so good for my Spanish speaking girls. She also does makeup tutorials!
I'd like to recommend Nena Moreno and Miss Miriam. Nena does a lot of styles for longer hair, modern tips/tricks for said hair, make up and just overall good stuff. Miriam does makeup, hair, hauls, etc. all related to pin up style/vintage (duh!). Both do videos in English and Spanish too!
It's very kind of you to make this video. I know almost all of those TH-camrs, but I am always looking into something more about vintage life-style in general, I added on my subscriptions the Past Rerfect chanel on vintage music and Sewing with Tara Moss. Thank you very much.
I loved this! Plus I was just thinking about finding new vintage youtubers to watch. Not that I don’t like the ones I watch now, I just feel there’s more people out there. This is great! I had no idea there was such a big vintage community on TH-cam and whilst in the process of subscribing to ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE you mentioned, I already got stuck watching a video on vintage bathing suits which explained everything I had been wondering about but had been to lazy to do research myself for ever since I saw that one Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries episode and realized bathig suits were made of wool... Anyways, thanks so much, this was really helpful and I shall now go disappear in a swirl of fashion history and never resurface! (I really hope that is an expression that makes sense, I haven't read nearly enough 19th century novels in English to be sure of how to be properly dramatic and not sound like Van Helsing)

Yes, I just noticed, I'm so sad about it! She moved to Spain, from what she said in her last videos. Also in her last videos she looked very tense and her voice was trembling, she looked so stressed and like if she was struggling with something. She said she would leave the internet and the social networks for a while. I really hope she's fine, I know she did struggle with her health in the past 😟

Thank you so much for doing this video. I was familiar with most of the channels, but you introduced me to a few new ones. I have a few to recommend too. Sweet Emelyne isn't always the best on authenticity, but she's really sweet and enthusiastic. La Pachuquita is a tiny channel focused on Latina rockabilly style, but be aware she uses quite a few curse words. Lastly, Atomic Age Pictures has a fun variety of stuff from vintage film clips, to beauty tutorials, to pin up shoots. I hope that helps. Thanks again!

I don't think that often happens in the vintage community as most of the companies using this marketing technique are not very vintage-related... I keep receiving sponsoring offers daily and it's always modern clothes or jewelry. there was literally ONE time I considered it because the company (among modern things) sold 1920s style dresses that I was thinking of using as costumes in a short film haha
Do know any channels that focus more on mens vintage style? I couldn't find any besides the sartorial/modern gentleman ones, but none actually focusing on a certain decade, faithfully reflecting the style like your channel. #polacyrozmawiajacypoangielsku

to be honest I don't know any, it doesn't mean they don't exist though. there's plenty of vintage-wearing chaps both online and offline, so it is possible that some of them might be active on TH-cam but not getting any attention yet. check out the latest Racked video with Dandy Wellington for example!

Julie Muniz As far as I know she has a desease (I think something like a chronic ovarian inflammation, she once talked about it), and she needed to make a completely new start. She gave away all her possessions, clothes, furniture etc. and went to Spain. It's not sure whether she'll come back soon, but I really hope for it!

For French-speaking people, there is Romy Victory, who is French Canadian and who often makes hauls/thriftshopping vlogs, she is not always vintage but she's definitely into the pin-up/femme fatale look ! Julie Muniz To be honest I feel like she didn’t think it would be a big deal - I know she enjoys connecting with her audience but I think it’s really difficult for her to relate to the fact that people may actually care for her when they don’t know her, or even have a personal relationship with her channel. She’s very private as a person and very critical of social media overall so she probably hasn’t realized that being a TH-camr often means that you enter people’s lives in a really intimate way.

Soooo sad. I used to watch her and just found out because of your comment, which was posted 2 years ago :( Does anyone know any extremely similar channels? I will continue watching a few of the recommended in this video, but I feel like there was nobody like Lily Jarlsson. The Daily Connoisseur has a similar way of speaking/ personality, but she is more focused on the housewife lifestyle and modern and modest elegance, without any vintage.
that was 2 years ago and I still am so sad. Her vintage channel was the best. I still drink her chai tea and actually am eating her vintage no-oven meatloaf with potatoes and pees. That brings back so many memories...

I know a few people have noticed but Lily erased her online presence. I feel it's all tied back to when she said she was decluttering. I know a number of her subscribers expressed concern. And though I am 100% for letting things go, it was so sudden & large scale that I too thought it was slightly eccentric. I hope she is okay though. And that if she decides to return, that she still has copies of her amazing videos saved 😢
Julie Muniz I know right! I have actually read different opinions online. Somebody said maybe she wants to return to a modern way of dressing. Someone else suggested that maybe she and her partner broke up. It could be the relocation to a new country. I just felt that even if she didn't want to make more videos or just wanted a break, there was no need to delete the available videos. It's her right at the end of the day, I just hope she is in good health. That's the most important thing.
I'm glad more people are speaking up about this. I was incredibly confused when I couldn't find her channel or her videos anywhere. I've been trying to figure this out for a couple months (Yes, I really loved her channel), and I'm only now realizing that other people noticed her absence as well. I was really concerned over the fact that she deleted everything. It's okay if she wished for a break from the media, but was it really necessary to disappear without a word? So much as a good-bye, nor an explanation? I would have appreciated it if she had at least left her videos available for those who wished to continue to view them. However, if something serious happened we don't or can't know about, then that is a whole other story, and stems nothing but concern from me and her fans. I truly wish she is okay, and if she is, I hope she says something soon, because I am very worried and confused.

This is great! I had no idea there was such a big vintage community on TH-cam and whilst in the process of subscribing to ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE you mentioned, I already got stuck watching a video on vintage bathing suits which explained everything I had been wondering about but had been to lazy to do research myself for ever since I saw that one Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries episode and realized bathig suits were made of wool... Anyways, thanks so much, this was really helpful and I shall now go disappear in a swirl of fashion history and never resurface! (I really hope that is an expression that makes sense, I haven't read nearly enough 19th century novels in English to be sure of how to be properly dramatic and not sound like Van Helsing)

Sweet Emelyne isn't always the best on authenticity, but she's really sweet and enthusiastic. La Pachuquita is a tiny channel focused on Latina rockabilly style, but be aware she uses quite a few curse words. Lastly, Atomic Age Pictures has a fun variety of stuff from vintage film clips, to beauty tutorials, to pin up shoots. I hope that helps. Thanks again!

I don't think that often happens in the vintage community as most of the companies using this marketing technique are not very vintage-related... I keep receiving sponsoring offers daily and it's always modern clothes or jewelry. there was literally ONE time I considered it because the company (among modern things) sold 1920s style dresses that I was thinking of using as costumes in a short film haha
Do know any channels that focus more on mens vintage style? I couldn't find any besides the sartorial/modern gentleman ones, but none actually focusing on a certain decade, faithfully reflecting the style like your channel. #polacyrozmawiajacypoangielsku
to be honest I don't know any, it doesn't mean they don't exist though. there's plenty of vintage-wearing chaps both online and offline, so it is possible that some of them might be active on TH-cam but not getting any attention yet. check out the latest Racked video with Dandy Wellington for example!

Julie Muniz As far as I know she has a desease (I think something like a chronic ovarian inflammation, she once talked about it), and she needed to make a completely new start. She gave away all her possessions, clothes, furniture etc. and went to Spain.
It's not sure whether she'll come back soon, but I really hope for it!
