Acholi leaders warn government to go slow on Apaa land demarcation

  • Leaders in Acholi have urged the government to stop erecting mark stones in the contested boundary area of Apaa between Amuru and Adjumani districts. They also demanded the immediate release of Kilak County MP Gilbert Olanya who was arrested on Monday ahead of the boundary demarcation exercise. The leaders were meeting residents in Apaa also urged government to withdraw security agents from the area.
