Very nice review. I really like the photo of the sunlit terraced hill with the mountains in the background - superb composition. Spain is a beautiful country...
Thanks, it is a beautiful country. I have several attempts at that shot. The light has to be just right, the scene changes radically once the sun is higher!
Ok, I've downloaded the app and it looks interesting. What extra benefits are you finding from the premium version? I'm guessing it's a bit like Waze where users are submitting locations and traffic information. I wonder how much input would be forthcoming in Thailand. I had to laugh when you said many of the paths and tracks are not shown in the app. Here the problem is the other way round as most map apps show buffalo tracks as roads. I've had some squeaky bum episodes thanks to that.
The premium version has enhanced “around me” functionality which is useful. It’s relatively new so there are gaps, I’m on the coast near Gibraltar this week and there are amazing places to photograph, none of which appear on the app yet. I guess that’s part of the fun, finding the gaps, seeing where people have got to and breaking new ground.

Such a nice review from such a super sympathetic photographer. ❤
