    Really appreciate all your tutorials and the inspiration you provide in this segment of the 3d creative community. Overcoming inertia and just getting started doing something, anything, can be one of the biggest obstacles to artistic endeavour...

      My pleasure! Absolutely, looking at a blank canvas is always a tricky thing... The mesh balloon brush really helps you to get started with something.

    It is minblowing how such an incredibly awesome application still keeps evolving and still finds new ways to empower artists. I guess a lot of features we also have to thank the recent Blender feature additions (esp. this one) , but the people at zbrush are just incredible developers who implement this stuff in a mindblowing artist friendly way. I am constantly awed about zbrush still evolving and manage to create new useful features. Esp. since the addition of dynamics. It is simply incredible. It was already incredible before and each time I look up a new feature explained (thanks for the video!) I start grinning, because I would not have thought it is even possible to further extend the functionality. And each time they do, it is so well implemented and fluid. I would say ZBrush is a miracle. The math virtuosity and understanding of artists needs put into it, I can only faint when I imagine the crazy effort of the developers. And to the artist, it is a true art tool.

    Hey Pablo, great video.A little tip for you: you do not need to isolate, then invert, then mask etc.If you have a polygroup, with the gizmo selected just control click on the polygroup and it will be masked fro you.Great time saver :)

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey thanks for the tip! I use that sometimes but the problem in this case, is that using the 'Ctrl+click', will change the orientation of the Gizmo based on the normal of the polygons and I like to keep the original orientation of the mesh while blocking things up ;)

    I've been saving your videos to watch them all with attention but I have to say thanks for sharing this, a lot of stuff I didn't knew. Also I like your interface seems perfect for display tablets. How I never though on puting all in the right side? :O

    Hey Pablo, when i drag out the baloons they look not as clean as yours. they look very unclean and dont follow the exact shapes i drew but more bumpy. do you have an idea why ?

    Why holding cntrl to switch on/off lazy mouse button?

    •  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because the lazy mouse is not a global setting. Holding Ctrl will access the masking brush and then you can turn of the lazymouse for just the masking brush

    With "MeshBallon" active, all it does is mask my sphere. Do I need to activate some special setting for this to work?

    • @goilo888
      @goilo888 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to hold control down AND start your stroke ON the mesh. If you start drawing while off the mesh all you will do is mask the mesh.
