- One of America's top universities has cancelled in-person lectures following days of campus protests by pro-Palestinian demonstrators.
Some Columbia University staff have also refused to work after the arrests and suspension of the students.
Jewish pupils say the protests are putting their safety at risk and have demanded tougher police action.

What is making me a little confused is the pro-Palestine protesters calling for a stop to the so called genocide in Gaza, by chanting from the river to the sea. I can’t see how this is not a call for the genocide of the Jewish population in Israel.
Would it be possible for someone to explain how anyone taking this position can explain what is the solution would be for these groups?

To be logical about it if anyone is the colonists it's the Arabs who colonised the Middle East after the fall of the Roman Empire, so 1600 years for one group and 5000 for the indigenous Jewish population, and yet it's the people who have lived between the 'river and the sea' for the longest who are called colonisers...
