Best description. Topped up Jimmy , not a toned down Defender. Thats all i needed to hear. Also, with the delay in the acceleration and delay when you leave the accelerator, is not a small thing to be ignored. I hope that Jetour addresses it as it can bcome a game changer. In South Africa, Cherry listens to its customers and addreses issues quick. Not sure if Jetour has the same mindset. Cos we waiting gor it in South Africa
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah the throttle lag is annoying especially if you're coming from another brand...I feel if it's a first car for someone then they can't tell the difference. Let me know what you think of it when you get in SA. Cheers from Lebanon!
Thank you for the great reviews. Pricewise, I see it listed at 18-25000 usd, for the same specs on Chinese websites. Are tgey differents from what you reviewed?
They say that Chery has a joint venture with Land Rover, and I'm kinda curious if Land Rover has any influence or contribution to the design and technology of this T2.
35k$ in Qatar so feeling pretty good, cant wait for it to arrive though wait times are pretty high rn :/. (Heard its 29k$ equivalent in China which is insane.)
Agreed! And there are so many Chinese vehicles that offer a great package for less than half what the rest of the world is selling. We all believe that the next few years will be dominated by Chinese cars...
Dude, in no way at all is this similar to a Suzuki Jimny. 😂 Suzuki is a farm car to trash about the fields. T2 is a soft urban cruiser for weekends playing off-road on less extreme terrain.
lmao, true that. I made this analogy comparing the build quality and overall feel though. I mentioned it's closer to a Jimny than a Defender when it comes to that aspect. Other than that, the Jimny is definitely more capable.
Yeah gearbox might be an issue, especially if it's your first Chinese vehicle. It's not bad, but it takes time getting used to the slight delay in throttle response. But it's a smooth ride tbh I enjoyed it on and off road.
Such a lovely video man , booked my T2 few weeks ago , this was as good as the test drive itself
Much appreciated man! Good luck and wish you happy miles :)

Amazing review, leveling up real quickly ❤
Thanks Eduardo!
Nice honest and a different review . Keep up the good work bro 🤲🏻
Thanks Yousaf! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Nice review man. I’m really considering this car now
Thanks buddy! Let me know if you have additional questions and good luck with your decision.
As always og top gear vibes in love with it keep going mcr ❤️❤️
Andrew thanks buddy
Your explanation is very informative. I drive nearly 200-250 km per day. Is the jetour T2 advisable? Your opinion is highly appreciated
Love the T2, thanks for this beautiful review
Thanks! I'm happy you enjoyed it :)
Very nice showcase!

It costs 18k us dollars in China. I doubt Land Rover has anything to do with this.
I'm curious if Land Rover knows about this joint venture! Cause it seems the exact copy of the Defender 🤫🤣
Nice review. Very partial. Hope they make a 7 seater Jetour T3. 👌✌️
Thanks man! I believe they made a Traveler L (aka T2 L) for the Chinese market - it's a 7-seater.
The response delay is due to the turbo.
Nothing beats the defender. Not even the new Toyota Prado.
Good stuff.
Jetour T2 is priced from 20000.00 in China.
Id buy one if it came to the uk at a reasonable price.

Don't forget import and transportation fees and taxes! Still a good deal tbh
amazing
Is it 25k or 45k$?
I am proud owner of jetour T2❤
Wish you happy miles!
My jetour t2 will arrive this december wish me luck❤
Good luck! Wish you happy miles in your T2.
Guys what is the color called so I can choose
YESSSSSS
Fuel consumption,pls?
It's claimed to do around 11 km/L or 26 mpg
@@MasterCarsReview not bad.
How much price u say?
45,000 USD
Another example of why the US is banning all Chinese vehicle brands. What US vehicle offers similar specs at a similar price?

Chinese Defender
This Jetour T2 is the chinese version of Land rover Defender. Very roomy to be a mid size SUV
Agreed! Small exterior size but feels surprisingly spacious inside.
@@MasterCarsReview And no discussion about it 👐👐👐
Design wise and the electronics are good but the ride quality is worst and the gear box is worst

Defender from Temu😅
😂
