It never barked once, this woman was really pouring on the water, scrubbing. Usually cats wouldn’t like this for very long at least.
My yorkie goes all over the place when it's bathing time. He hates it but I like to have fun with it. Once it's done then the zoomies begin. Runs all over the place even when I dried him up the best I could lol 😅

He is, he did a great job. But he was helped by being calm and reassuring him along the way, it's hard not to stress it too much.
Had to wash my ex's dog once. Glad to know I got it mostly right. My only mistake was that I used Head and Shoulders but it was all I had and I was not expecting to groom someone else's dog

My puppy is learning to bathe, I won’t make the same mistake I did with my older German shepherd in not bathing him as frequently as I should have. Now I have to go in butt naked with him to scrub his dirty self or he will hop tub and run.
I am making sure I’m bathing them properly because I always felt I never did an okay job with them

I wish that I found this video sooner my puppy has been raising hell for me, making me yell and scream.
Thank you for sharing your strategy, but please, when lifting the dog's legs to clean, lift them towards the front, never to the side so that you won't cause a breakage on her joints, muscle or bones, and do the move very gently so that the dog knows when to look for support on her other three legs avoiding feeling disoriented in regards while one of her legs is being lifted up (towards front, never towards side); blessings to you and your beloved. Does your shampoo supposed to create a lot of lather?
It doesn’t matter whether there’s a lather or not. A lather is simply there for a visual, so the shampooer can see how much has been applied and where it has been applied.
How do I get the wet dog smell after I give my dog a bath? I've used basically every type of dog shampoo and even blow dryer on her. Any suggestions?

I have trouble washing and rinsing their face, my dogs don't like water on their face
I use a very wet washcloth to wet my dog’s face. It’s easier than trying to use a spray. I get a sponge (that kind that has tiny holes and looks like foam) and get a good lather going and use that to shampoo his face being careful around the eyes of course. The sponge method is easier than struggling with your fingers. Then I take the very wet washcloth to rinse off the lather.
Washing? Warm or cold water!

The dog doesn’t seem to mind being wet while washed unlike some cats that go through with this.

It depends on how well they tolerate it. If they don't, a wet wipe would do.

Just a little concerned that no attention is given in this video to ensure the shampoo doesn’t get into the dog’s eyes. If it can make our eyes sting, god knows what it can do to a poor pup.

Boyfriend of a vet tech that's washing her chihuahua for her - they make an ointment for dogs eyes that can help protect the eyes from accidental shampoo exposure. Not exactly the best solution but something I didn't know about
Many dog shampoos are often made to not sting their eyes or at least be gentle but I’m still with you here. It happens that some water will get on my dogs face. It’s unavoidable. But I tend to wash only the top back portion of her head and then do the rest of her face area with dog cleaning wipes. When I do rinse her head after all of this (with just water), I hold the tip of her chin up in the air so that the water goes backwards instead of forwards. Hope this helps!
Excellent point re avoiding getting shampoo in their eyes. Personally if they are new to grooming I would not pour water over their face. Just clean their face with a dog face wipe.
