I am so glad CNN has this Alito neighbor on for a full interview. At the end of the day, Emily Baden has a right to put up signage in her own front yard. If you don't like what it says, then keep on moving past it.

Right? I live in a red state so I see F Biden signs all the time. First off, I'd be scared to confront them, second, I figure they're too far down the rabbit hole, third, it's their business. And I believe this lady. She's plainly nervous about being on national tv and doesn't want to be there, she owned up to using the C word, she's got documentation with the police report, and she's being hugely generous with Sam, saying at best he's mistaken, at worst he's lying. Also believe her about the security detail trying to intimidate her, and it being totally weird Martha-Anne knowing their names. Get a life, M-A.

My grampa help build a Southern Babtist Missionary Church in the the city of Coachella, Calif., & I know for a fact that our chiurch would never under any circumstances teach that politics were more important than the House of God, not only that but, the separation of Church & Politics(state) was of utmost importance, but I swear, he would turn over in his grave to hear the message propagated by the average Southern Babtist Church of today!
My family move to a different community when I was approx 13 yrs old, my dad was a Deacon in our old church, but never found a new church to join, sure miss those days of my youth, but the message was a way lot different than the message of today!
The tax exemption allowed our church to survive in hard times, but most of the mega-churches, or any church for that matter should lose that tax-exemption for the preaching of any message that does not pertain to the Holy Bible.....end of discussion!!😘

To hear Trump talking, you would think that every objection from the prosecution was sustained and every objection from the defense was overruled but that was completely false. He was even-handed. This is what they do. If they can't shut you down legally, they resort to intimidation. Tell me again how Rump ISN'T a mobster. So is Judge Cannon's husband, so that case is dead this year. Alito and Co have effectively shut down the DC case by sitting on the immunity claims since December, so that's dead too. Yesterday they scheduled a hearing to appeal trying to boot Fani Willis in GA. That hearing won't happen until October. Dead case #3. ALL we can do is now is vote and hope the R's don't rig it at the swing state level.

I think Alito preemptively responded to your question, with a weak rationale.
He said he respected her right to free speech. That's odd, as he sure didn't respect Emily's. He also conveniently ignored the principle that Supreme Court judges are NOT supposed to show preference to political affiliations. In other words, they are supposed to keep their biases/preferences PRIVATE, and minimize their influence on rendering judgements.

Alito is not just a local or a state judge. He represents the highest court in the land, this should NEVER have happened - that flag is TRAITOROUS and Alito is a traitor who has abused his power both privately and ad a judge.
Almost all of them have abused their power. Barret, Gorsuch and Schlitz Kavanaugh ALL lied during confirmation hearings, claiming Roe v Wade was 'stare decisis', or 'settled law'. They then promptly overturned it. Alito's lying. Thomas is a crook and taking fraudulent gifts, and Roberts is allowing all this to go on, unabated. That leaves 3 Justices NOT breaking the law, allegedly. Sotomayor has come out and said she's gone back into her office and cried over some of the decisions coming out of the Roberts court.
Whether or not the flag display means one thing or the other, the fact that Alito and his wife came up with a lie, so it seems, and concocted a different tale from what really happened indicates that they 1. lie, 2. are not trustworthy. And, we see this in facts surrounding Thomas. I just wish the woman that spoke up in the judiciary hearings about Thomas would've been believed, just as the drunken frat party indulgence of that other Supreme Court appointment.

Lastly….it dawns on me that when I was a federal employee and federal LEO I was incredibly cautious about EVERY thing I said, posted and advertised in ANY manner recognizing after many many training sessions and law updates that I in SOME ways was held to a higher standard….and that my representations could easily be misconstrued….it hasn’t dawned on them but especially HIM that often it’s better to simply ignore challenges?
