It is condylar or modified hinge. Hinge = uniaxial joint (flexion and extension only). Condylar = biaxial joint (flexion and extension + medial rotation and lateral rotation).
The most important part of any joint is the movement and I don't want to make long boring videos. Blood supply is from the anastomosis around the joint and you read them from any book. Nerve supply is from the nerves supplying the muscles acting on the joint (Hilton's law)
Hilton's law, espoused by John Hilton in a series of medical lectures given in 1860-1862, mentioned that the nerve supplying the muscles extending directly across and acting at a given joint not only supplies the muscle, but also innervates the joint and the skin overlying the muscle.
I appreciate the way you teach DR, however as much as possibe try to teach muscles rather than bones and joints. cause its preferable to learn bones in 3D. DEAR DR ADEL.
