The closest living relatives of the Darwin's Ground Sloth (Mylodon darwini) are the Two-Toed Sloths (genus Choloepus) while the closest living relatives of both the Jefferson's Ground Sloth (Megalonyx jeffersonii) and Cuvier's Colossal Ground Sloth (Megatherium americanum) are the Three-Toed Sloths (genus Bradypus).
Am glad nothing like tiger lion or this jungle hunters sloth cold be an easy food for them.. sloth is too sluggish to my like, that is own nature anyway 😊
So did they consummate the deal ? It would of been awesome to see sloths mate in the wild I have seen it several times in zoos but that high up on such a skinny tree that would of been amazing.
