I don't think they let you bcuz sloths don't like meeting new people it raises their heartbeat and makes them "stressed". Usually the people who work there work there for years in order for the sloths to feel safe with them 8( I wish I could too but it's unrealistic
well, i wish too, but check the Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary pages: you have to PAY to be there ... I wish to help animals, but I'm not gonna pay to stay with them.

When I was a kid I had the most remarkable book on Animals from South America. I spent days after days and hours after hours reading it. I was mesmerized by the range of animals and what they could do, their colours and patterns.
Those two babies were absolutely adorable and so sweet. I've always ranked them along with another tree dweller from Australia the adorable koala as my favorite wild animals. Both are amazingly similar in lifestyle and eating habits depending on a diet of leaves and flowers and spend most of their time in a tree sleeping. Despite their claws they are normally gentle and rather harmless critters
