Oh yah, can’t beat the price new so I know they were a deal in the thrift store. Enjoy them
Use some mink oil or Hubbard's shoe grease.
I have three pairs but the glue has failed on all of them and the soles have separated. I will not throw them out. I will attempt to glue the soles back on.

Which is better? Merrell or skechers?
Merrell in boots, Skechers in tennis shoes. It all depends on what you plan on doing in the shoe Mate.
I got the sergeant boots from sketchers, most painful mistake. The uppers have very rigid foam that digs right into my ankle.
That sucks

I never had to but look into some leather conditioner.
I liked wearing the real leather 🥾, since I have waterproof from verdict styles.
Real is the way to go bro
