My favorite song of his has been dancing in a burning room but lately new light has topped all his songs. New light is so fuvking good and underrated it makes no sense
Im a 98 baby but I sooo wish I was in my teens/20s in the early 2000s... I remember being little and looking up to all the "older kids" just having fun, dancing just like that to this tune. Those were different times, life was good!

he did the guitar in Mac Millers Small World with no credit, he’s a genuine human following his dream and I think he deserves that credit so, you’re welcome❤️
John Mayer is an incredibly underrated musician. Not as much anymore, but his songwriting is very good, and his guitar playing is downright phenomenal. Possibly the most skilled guitarist of his generation
@@user-wf4nl2yy8x I didn't get it actually haha but the thing is reggae music has a very specific rhythmic pattern, the guitar is always in the weak beat opposing the bass and drums etc. John's song sounds like reggae as a washing machine sounds like a car
It has a bit of a Reggae feel & girls love moving to Reggae. The whole process of writing is an adventure. He wrote that song for his signature PRS guitar … “ur body is another brand”
LMAOOO
This may be one of the funniest comments I’ve read in my life good sir
Theres nothing wrong with his Super Eagle
I need some backstory on this lore ..
@@misterhutch2053 he didn’t like what Fender had to offer so he went with PRS instead. So he took the body of a strat and combined it with a PRS
I think it's just crazy how he can appeal to two completely different audiences. He's amazing.
That's why he's an amazing songwriter
Actually clay cook of zac brown band co wrote much of that first album with john

“The girl dance” haha class
That speech was very classy. Respect!
To write a song with this much longevity is pure genius. We know John has the lock on that.
Lol Dave Chappelle was right on his skit with John haha
That's so funny 😂😂😂
😂😂 bro nailed it way back

The amount of attention he gives some songs is so remarkable, also sort of strange from the angle 😂 love it sm tho
I so enjoy his work. Especially the old stuff. Fun to watch. Thanks for posting.

A roommate in college used to play this for chicks and their clothes would just vanish. Ill always love John Mayer.
You’ve caught up, John!

Freakin love john mayer baby !
Wow amazing ❤❤❤😊
the girl dance…. Brilliant
Few songs contributed to the birth rate of the early 2000s as much as this song. 😂
Tell me about it 😂😂😂😂 put on some Dave then some Johnny M and just like that you had children 9 months later 😂😂
its basically reggae beat
Shitty one at that.
definetly not
Nah his beat is mmm cha, cha mmm cha, cha mm cha and so on
Reggae is like mmm chaka, chaka, chaka, chaka, mmm chaka.. ya get it man

I won tickets to his show it was the grateful Dead and John Mayer but my daughter graduated Jr high at the same day so I chose my child
*Dead and Company
Good dad, although foolish
Aww too bad
You chose right
Would have been cool to ask her if she wanted to skip graduation and go see a concert instead!

Hot take
Diddy whispered in John’s ear “your body is wonderland”

He had some of the best gfs
He just mentioned the Rythm Guitarist of Oasis!😨😮🤯🤯🤯😃😃😃
Man has Rizzzzz. Even with just music 👀
"The girl dance". LOL
Was that him on the drums?
No it’s a drummer named Nir Z
It's Chris Adler
jerry marotta. Pretty easy to look that stuff up friends 🤙
I love my girl interns
Cool!
In another life… atleast in my mind, I’m married to John Mayer and we have lots of… love every day and night. 🤷♀️🤦♀️
Yes, I am ashamed. 🙄😭
Can anyone PLEASE tell me where to find the studio recording footage that says 2000?
What’s the documentary called?
John "not quite my tempo" Mayer
What do you mean? Are quoting "whiplash"?😂😂😂
I’ve never seen anyone dance to that song 😂
The girl dance lol
I love that song. Hates it heheh it came now and now I think it’s pretty genius.
Funny I saw him play 3 hours with no opener and he did hit after hit but he didn't play this
And catch up he did…
The WHITE GIRL dance😂
This dude was cooking like that the day I was born bro…
well, at least he got the bonehead part right…
I miss the insult dog...
Always girls
simple beeches
uh oh there’s Diddy yikes
Girls are his only audience, what a big mistake 😂
Calling it the "girl dance" would be labeled as "problematic" in 2023
You’re reaching
It wouldn’t be but it would raise an eyebrow
No, most people would just be like "...tf does that mean?" And move on.
You're literally the only one that sees a problem with that
IMO - it’s too slow for a good dance track.
This dude talks about his music like he's really doing something interesting amd then writes the most bland song ever
One hit wonderland
Lol do you even know who this is
This is the funniest comment on TH-cam
@templeballftw Whoosh right over your head lol
I think you need to apologize to people for your lack of empathy for people
