Its so strange how we connect songs to a certain stage or point in our lives. Back in 2007 I had to leave my home for the first time to work in another city. I had lived all my life with my parents and this was my first time. While I was packing my bags to leave, this song was playing on TV and it suddenly became my signature "Homesick" song. I remember crying like a baby that day. Later whenever I heard this song, I felt a deep urge to go back home and see my Mom and Dad, my town. Now that my Mom is no more, this song sometimes is very tough to bear ...so many memories. RIP Mom.
This is the sweetest song. I’m old now, but this reminds me of young love. And how good it was to be able to spend time with the one you love. When everything was new and exciting. Ahhh! Memories!

Hi! The line is actually "I'm never speaking up again," and it's actually just a line from the track before this one on the album. The track is called "My Stupid Mouth." As for the I'll use my "I'll use my hands," I think you can infer what he was implying there.
As for why he included a line from a previous song I'm not sure, but I like the style of it.
There are so many emotions when listening to this song, it takes me to my adolescence, a whole movie goes through my head, my heart races. I just love the way this song and John Mayer touches my soul. John you don't know, but it's part of my life, I met so many nice people because of you. How I miss that time.
