You are I think the only person posting Just intonation content on TH-cam. JI is the only way to go. Society has strayed so far away from beauty and perfection

there are loads of people making ji content, claudi meneghin for example (ji is beautiful but i love everything outside of the 12 normal tones, kleismic and schismatic temperament are easier to deal with but inaudibly different from 5-limit ji)

this doesn't sound like just intonation... it sounds like meantone if anything

i agree it sounds weird for just intonation, and that it has something of a meantone quality to it. But I think it’s the accidentals and modulations that are giving that impression.

I think this sounds better in just intonation in many ways. The consonances are so lush, while the dissonances are more shocking and un-agreeable. Also the microtonal shift between the original key and the final key was extremely fascinating to hear.

Thanks so much, Pedro. The fourth Ballade is one of my favorite pieces-will definitely consider arranging it in JI

Sorry for the possibly ignorant question, but do you play this yourself on an specially tuned intrument, use an eletronic intrument or is it computer processed?

Thanks for the question! Computer processed - I play everything into Digital Performer with Pianoteq instruments, with often over a dozen different tracks to get all the different notes. Cheers

Pleasantly "out of tune" to the Western ear ... there is still something anciently "right" about this tuning ... when Bach was a child, music could still be this "different" ... the medieval period ... perhaps all the way back to the dawn of time since just intonation was known by the ancient Babylonians ... I feel like something has been recovered here...
