I was always a bit skeptical about using ChatGPT. But after watching your video, I decided to give it a go. Actually, it was really good because it writes down everything, so you can review the content afterwards. A big problem I have is that I am shy at speaking, and I also don’t have many people to practise with. It's amazingly surprising to know how technology has evolved in our lives in order to better help us learn anything new, like languages and how we can use them as much as possible. I can only speak English and Spanish and there are many language and cultural barriers to overcome. ChatGPT can be your friend, but sometimes it sounds robotic and I wouldn't trust "him" at all. أستطيع أن أنتقد الذكاء الاصطناعي في النطق العربي، فهو لا يتقن تشكيل أواخر الكلمات بالشكل الصحيح، و يستخدم وضع السكون بدلا من الحركات، يقوم أيضا بتفخيم بعض الحروف أكثر من اللازم كحرف الهاء "ha" مثلاً.
صحيح، نمط اللغة العربية لا يشبه نمط اللغة الإنجليزية، وأشياء مثل التشكيل والتفخيم والترقيق وبعض مخارج الحروف صعب ويكاد يكون مستحيل أن يعقلها.

Personally, I think AI can be helpful in learning a language, but it should not be the only source of learning. I like that you can speak to it, and you can get reading and writing exercises, but the voice is automated and easy to understand, unlike native speakers. Plus I still always want to be wary for unnatural-sounding AI. But I think with time it can improve and be very helpful, which is what scares me haha!
It’s crazy I tried English, Malay , Hindi , French and Korean . It all worked . It did not really work well for Mauritian Creole .
