Just fitted mine! Excellent quality as are all Hill products it seems! Does this make filling slightly slower? I imagine it must with more 'resistance'. Also does the filter cylinder get warm? ...mine seemed to get a little warm. Finally my pack of drying material...the tiny balls...was vacuum sealed and didn't seem to have any silicone sachet? I opened the second pack just to check as I didn't want the silicone sachet to be in the filter obviously. Thanks!!!
Thanks for your comment. As the compressor has to firstly fill the Dry-Pac up to pressure before then starting to fill the gun/cylinder it does mean it takes a little longer to fill. It will get warm as it is in use. If you mean the orange colour change beads they are not used in this Dry-Pac and shouldn't come in the refill sachets. Regards

Might hook right up, but might have to change a fitting or 2, but I'm sure it'll mod to work...
Hi, we can't offer support if used on other compressors in terms of compatibility etc The Dry-Pac Pro must be kept upright though at all times.

Hello, I use my MK5 with Dry Pac sometimes multiple times a day to top off my PCPs...Would adding this to the outlet of that be beneficial or overkill? Also can you explain what the "Pressure Maintaining Valve" does and thus how it is "regulated condensation"? Regards tc
Hi, the dry-pac pro cannot be added to use with hand pumps.

With proper fittings, why not.
@@wsmc8275 The hand pump dries on the inlet with it's own Patented Hill Dry-Pac System. Using the Dry-Pac Pro on the outlet would mean filling is twice as difficult, as more compressed air is now also required to fill the Dry-Pac Pro. The Dry-Pac Pro also needs to be kept vertical. This is why we don't recommend it.
Is this part absolutely necessary to run the compressor. Can it run without it without any issues.
Hi Justin, we have been selling the EC-3000 without the Dry-Pac Pro since it launched it in 2020 and the compressor functions without it. We have been inundated with requests for an additional inline filter since launch and this is why we have developed the Dry-Pac Pro to offer the ultimate moisture protection for users who feel they need or want the extra moisture protection that it provides on top of the on board moisture trap on the EC-3000.
@Hill Pumps thanks. I've just purchase one myself 2 weeks ago that's why I'm asking. I would assume that the compressor already deals well with removing moisture.
@@justinpatton740 The EC-3000 was originally designed for users who were just filling guns directly and most users will find the on board moisture trap is adequate for that. Where you may want the new Dry-Pac Pro is you are filling in a very humid environment or users who do top up larger cylinders and bottles may feel they need one as well. I've started to top up my bottle 3l so have been considering additional filtration.
Air moisture this time of year is high, another reason for additional filtration.
Just bought the EC-3000 today from a great shop in Portugal...Mundilar....so professional and excellent service and products! When they get this filter I will purchase it also.....what will be the cost of the consumables?...also how often would they need replacing? Great product Hill!!! Kind regards from Spain.

I was under the impression the dry media should not make contact with the metal cylinder as it is highly corrosive.? Other moisture collectors have the dry material in some kind of plastic sleeve .
Hi, most of the other drying cylinders use aluminium which is much thinner and susceptible to corrosion than the tube which we use which is much thicker material and nickel plated for anti-corrosion purposes. Regards
