Very cool build! I've got a 20' 14k bumper pull car trailer that is often heavier than I need for hauling cars.. been wanting a trailer like the one you're building...good idea for a future project!

They were wasps, not bees. Its a wonder they didnt swarm you. They usually attack quite ferociously. Trailer coming along.. Well done.

I would have left the old cross members and used them to weld the new cross members to because your not saving a huge amount of weight cutting them out.

You probably already built it by now but the I beams you bought for $100 you could run lengthwise on the trailer and use those as ramps four tires on your car to go on and you don't need decking

What size your frames I beams? Mine is 4" X 1 3/4" and I'm thinking I may want to double them up side by side.
I want to be able to haul a VW bug race car plus my Harley chopper along with welder, air compressor ,Generator and tool chest, spare tires ect.. Bug is 1300 lbs Harley 500 lbs,I used a 26' camper trailer with dual axles so I'm thinking it should suffice...I expect total weight I'll carry to be less than 4 ton probably closer to 3 ton....what do you think,,,total modified length will be about 15-18 foot deck length

Would have been easier to cut all the bolts on the hitch receiver

Would be a lot more work for no reason

Instead of flipping it over why don't you just stand it up at one end with your forklift why didn't you leave the tractor there for added safety
