This is seriously awesome! Thanks, Eric. You should consider promote this to UX designers/product managers as well, as they need to do loads of customer interviews and are willing to pay hundreds of dollars just for the transcription.

Hi Eric, thanks for the good work. I'm looking for a way to save the text from "Live Caption" without using Google Meet. For example, when I watch TH-cam videos, I would like to redirect the recognized text to a file. Do you know if there is such a thing? Thank you very much already.

I want to know if the participants to Google meet can also save the transcript themselves from their own system or only Host can save the transcript and then share later.

Anyone who uses the "Meet Transcript" extension can save the transcript themselves since it just pulls the transcript from the closed captioning and chat, which all user have access to.

How did you record your whole screen with the cc at the bottom? When I record meetings in Google Meet and play them back, I can't see the closed captions. :-) I am using the transcripts, and it's great, but I love your video with the close captions recorded. :-)
