I went to the bridge on Sunday too many people and got nothing :/ feel like a failure of a fisher person will keep trying - where you went looks amazing
No such thing of a failure of a fisherman, you can only learn more from other people and experiences. No matter how skilled a fisho you are there will be days where the fish won’t be biting, but you increase your chances by reading the conditions, changing up lures or just keep preserving
@@fletchersfishing Thanks Fletcher I appreciate the support. Can you suggest what part of Narrabeen you were, no need to name the exact spot if you aren't comfortable maybe just where to park :)
I’m using a daiwa TD black scratchy rod. Really any 1-4kg or 2-4kg rated graphite combo would do the job nicely, if you go to ya local tackle shop they’d fix you up, 2-4kg are the most all round and well known set up to use
I’m using the td black 20 scratchy. It’s 7ft 1-4kg. I think a sugapop will be way too long and a bit cumbersome and if I brought a big fish in close id be too scared if it snapping. Go the TD but I reckon try a slightly shorter length, anything above 6’10”
It’s was a bit of both. I took the caps off the overhead handles in the car and jammed a shower pole. Then I attached a berkley ceiling rod rack to the shower pole. I found they kept on falling out over speed bumps go i used a bit of bungee chord to secure them in.
hi mate where is this spot in the lake
I went to two spots in this lake. I parked near middle creek reserve for the whiting and the bridge near the Woolies
What lure did you use to catch the flathead and whiting, please tell me I’m a newbie fishing and I want to catch some fish

Pretty much where I film is all I really have success, if you park near Woolies or the caravan park you should be in for a good fish

Man mate, just standard trebles
nice work mate - which TD black are you using? I am toying between a 7'8 TD Black Sugapop and the new 7'6 Daiwa Zero. Keen on your thoughts

Great video. What’s your PB from the lake?
I think it was 67cm. Can’t be too confident because I measured it using my rod rather than a measure mat
Hey mate I like the idea of the rod racks in your car, did you make that yourself or did you buy it?
