I feel like there was a lot of dope stuff dropping this year! There were some crazy AM1s this year. Kasinas and Cncpts went off! The HUF dunks are crazy too! JFG went in this year with NB. NB again with the protection packs as well. So many to choose from!

It’s tough to find a sneaker of the year. I think that’s a good thing. With that being said, New balance was definitely my brand of the year. From the teddy santis drops, Joe Freshgoods & more. Nothing but heat from new balance this year.
My favourite sneakers are the Fire Red 3s. Been waiting for those to release for years and glad to finally copped them easily in store.

I personally liked the Taxi 1s. It has great colour blocking, resale isn’t too crazy so it’s easily attainable for the general public. I think it’s a shoe that will age well.
union 2s are so slept on, either colorway. I have the gray color way and they are easy to rock, wont break the bank, im the only person i know to have them and turn heads. they be clean

As someone who grew up in the Jordan Era , and played on my school basketball team wearing fire red 4's . The Bred 4's and fire red 4's are the Jordan's that hit hard and made the brand. If the Off white Breds drop , they'll be the sneaker of the decade.

Brandon got the criteria right, I want to get the best bang for the buck. Top quality only that looks nice on feet. ofc there's some shoes that don't have the best quality that I'll still get but.. shoe quality is a thing that comes to mind when spending my hard earned money.
I agree with Richie about the pandas. so many older people on my sons soccer/baseball team etc that weren’t into sneakers have gotten into the game because of the pandas. And are in shock how limited shoes are and how the game actually works.

story - interesting story very visible thru packaging and design
wearability - cant go wrong with a classic
scarcity - despite high stock, it was still pretty hard to get
price-point accessibility - retail/ retail isnt crazy
