Hi Shelley! You’ve inspired me to buy a mushroom and I finally received it looking forward to making these. I did have a question for you though, does your mushroom allow you to fully reverse around on the tube setting it goes forward normally but if i need to back up I’ve noticed on the one I got it stops on needle six it’s the same when I try and panel. Idk if it’s just a faulty machine or just the way it’s designed. Could you help me by any chance?
That is too bad that you are having trouble. Yes, mine can go all the way around in both directions when it is in “T” mode. If yours does not the. My guess is that something is broken or jammed in it.
I had a feeling that was the case. Well I’ll return and try again I suppose fingers crossed I can get one that works. I was really looking forward to make these!

Very nice but would not be warm enough in acrylic for my climate. I love natural fibers . I have raised my own fiber animals and spin the yarn . You should really try using natural fibers and see the big difference it makes and would not need to make them double . Natural fibers are so much better and come in so many varieties - It is sustainable for our poor earth, and has a ton of benefits that synthetic does not have. What a shame that your machine doesn't have ribbing capabilities. I can do ribbing with the circular sock knitting machine. I don't have a sentro but make them on a csm autoknitter. You do a great job with your creativity and are an inspiration . But I love to see what you are doing because you are so creative and talented.
