Can you remove the drive letters without any issues on Windows 11 for the EFI and Recovery volumes? I need them for my external drives for online back from my old system.
I have a OEM Recovery Partition of around 800 MB of which only 400 MB is occupied. I want to reset my Laptop to Factory settings, How can I do it? Please tell me. Ever since I have installed a fresh copy I'm getting terrible battery backup, tried every tweek more than 3 times. Still no improvement. Out of the box I was getting 6hrs now I'm getting 2.5-3 hrs.

You can download the recovery disk from the manufacturer's website. Man move on to windows 10 and Windows 8.1 product key will work with windows 10 and getting driver's is not an Issue.

Hi Chinnu, Windows 10 refresh does not require factory reset partition. You can download Windows 10 from Microsoft's site and do a fresh install.
The partition will come back after you restart.

What data do you need? It just contains Windows Recovery image.

Not a big difference, UEFI has got options like secure boot and support for hard disk larger than 2 TB. Better carry on with MBR.

Hi, You are welcome, you can use disk management tool to create a new partition or allocate the space to existing partition.
How to reverse the same ?
Assign the drive letter using disk management or diskpart.
