I'm falling short of words to thank you. Many instructors have asked to delete the recovery file through administrator mode in command prompt but it could have ended with problems while booting.
This thing did work for me.
    Thank You

Perfectly detailed and concise video. Made it very easy to follow along with confidence. Might have been worth advising a backup before getting into anything, but otherwise 100% 👍

@eKiwi, thank you so much for taking the time to make this video tutorial, I really appreciate how easy you made this look. I had 11Gbs of unallocated space on my Samsung SSD which was originally used for 'Over Provisioning' but for some reason Samsung Magician had greyed out the ability to clear the OP, hence therefore why I was looking for other solutions. I had previously read about the MiniTool Partition Wizard but their website doesn't make it very clear how to use it. Your video on the other hand was clear, concise and to the point. 👍I suppose I should also thank the makers of this mini tool also, without this utility I would be scratching my head for answers. Thank you 👍

Genius 😁😁👌👌😎😎 yep through shear grit, sweat & a little alcohol I read and researched this far, cloned 240GB SSD[GPT] to 480GB SSD[GPT]using macrium reflect[free] because other software only did MBR in free version. Then got confused with Disk Manger and the cloned drive size, albeit I was anticipating this outcome from past experience. I found a thread in a random forum recommending minitool, facing the minitool GUI I clicked resize/move and hit the wall of how to move the RE partition, of course the whole bar was a visual representation of the actual drive😒😒 I do think after a spot of lunch I would of got there in the end, but hey you saved me about 3 hours of frustration, much appreciated. I nearly went down the command line rabbit hole, delete recovery partition. I hope you make more truly helpful vids - Subscribed. Peace.

Really great video! Walking through the process before doing it is what I found to be most helpful. I restored an Acronis disk image onto a larger target disk but the recovery partition is in between the unallocated free space, not allowing me to extend the disk. I'm going to use your process to (hopefully) resolve my dilemma. Thank you for sharing! This is really helpful!

    1) Is there any benefit to moving the recovery partition to the left of the main partition next to the other system partition ?
    2) If you partitioned the drive into C: and D:, should they both have their own recovery partition ? ( Intuitively, I think that yes, they should.)

I did the same thing using gparted in Linux, which incidentally also successfully cloned my drive in the first instance using the dd command (only one line required in terminal!). I tried cloning and resizing at the same time firstly with Macirum and that failed to boot. Using a linux live USB seems the easiest way for a lot of things.

Great video ! Just to give my feedback, during the reboot process the computer gave me two blue sceens of death before starting the partitioning process from the wizzard, but it was fine after that. And to those asking whether or not the recovery mode still works after moving the winRE partition, it seems to be working fine for me. Thanks !

Will this work if C:drive is 80GB and the unallocated free space is only 20GB?
