Not in anyway impactful. My personal favourite was the ww1 ad. As it was released on rememberance day and it was festive and warm. This lacks the same wholesome feel.

@@sainsburys Bit hard to express in words, but it's the overall concept of the Christmas Spirit (the actual one, not the bottle of gin) prevailing. Just didn't get the John Lewis one. Allegedly, it's about not leaving anyone out at Christmas, but instead for me it demonstrates that this world is full of people who only like you when you've got something to give. As for costing £8m.........

The advert is okay, it's just that the actions of Sainsbury's themselves over the years don't reflect in this ad, making it seem disingenuous

I think it's pretty tasteless..and that opinion has nothing to do with how well made the ad is; just the vast sum spent on self agrandissment when a real gesture would be to have given a slice of their profits to charity.

Not in anyway impactful. My personal favourite was the ww1 ad. As it was released on rememberance day and it was festive and warm. This lacks the same wholesome feel.
