The Christmas advert is a joyous musical created in stop frame animation featuring vocals by James Corden. It tells the story of Dave, a hard-working and devoted Dad, who realises that the greatest gift he can give people this Christmas is his time.

At the risk of spoiling the magic for some people, I feel the CG department deserve a shoutout for the animated Gogglebox segments. Usually, one style of animation masquerading as another really gets on my nerves, but I appreciate it would have cost an absolute fortune to render them this well in actual stop-motion, and it's simulated with real flair and subtlety, so credit where it's due! :)
Do not watch the simpsons/family guy crossover then!

@@silencesilence3408 that’s all true but spring always just feels so fresh and it’s the right temperature that time of year because I don’t like too hot or too cold. So yeah it just feels nice as soon as you walk out your door when it’s spring cos the birds are singing and most of the flowers are coming out etc

Why does this stop motion look like CGI? Like the movie Flushed Away. But the description says stop motion.
Its so well-done that you get the impression thats its CGI, maybe because there are so many frames in only one second

alex ojideagu it is actually made with stop motion. Have you seen Laika's work? As in Kubo - Paranorman - Coralinr? It looks just as good (even better)
It's definitely had post production effects added to it though.
