- This was easily one of the craziest things I have tried on a bike. Bikejor. Being towed by world championship level dogs over 45km/h off-road. I also try Canicross, a much slower and harder (if your running abilities are like mine) version of dogsport, similar principle, towed through the woods by a dog, but this time whilst running.

I run canicross and bikejor with my German Shepherd, the bikejoring is especially addicting, it's a blast!
I used to do this with my Golden. It was the only way I can keep up with him. Never fails to put smiles on both our faces.
Love what he said about running technique. I used to run with my husky and she made me run right. Smaller gate and high cadence to keep it nice and smooth. She taught me so much. Gutted she has gotten a bit too old for it now.
I used to do canicross. My wife does bikejöring and scooter jöring, which is just like the former but with a big scooter with mountain bike tires and disc brakes instead of a bike. Much fun for all involved.
Kudos for attempting that. I’d have been petrified at that pace
This is the best fun to have with your dog. I do mainly urban so don’t go as fast .
Dogs learn very quickly your commands.
I’ve come off a couple of times over the years but nothing beats the smiles both you and you dog have afterwards.
Combine this with a pit stop at a pub .
I'd try it with my Jackie, but I'd end up in a rabbit hole 😂

Try it with two huskies. Great fun! I used to keep a full sus bike down near Fowey (Mixtow) for using on the lanes with my two.
Thanks for the share. I once got three huskies to pull me on my bike. I got pulled so fast and then I fell. Needless to say I didn’t try that again

Amazing! One summer we got pulled in a golf cart by some sled dogs. They were so excited to get to pull the cart. It was amazing how much they enjoyed it.

Great video. I used to do this about twenty years ago on a mountain bike with my two bull terriers. It was great fun and a good workout for my dogs. Happy memories!

Isn't it fun?! I also have a Cattle Dog who is not into pulling but loves to free run with us! Recently adopted a German Shorthair for bikejoring. What a blast!

Glasses are always a good idea, mind you I never wear them but hardly being able to see is half the fun

I don't have all the gear but I have a bike and a short leash as long as you keep the dog to the left or right of you you would be safe my bike with my dog daily and she is only 10 months old

Did it on my skis a few times with my dog. It works great 99% of the time, then the dog sees a cat....
