I appreciate that he took the time not only to show how to stir-fry with minimal oil but also explaining the science, reasoning and results of each step. Excellent video. Many thanks!
for those who want to do it without any oil whatsoever literally just add more water, except it's not really stir-frying tbh it's literally just a mix of steaming and boiling except in a pan/wok instead of a pot. as long as you see your pan isn't dry it won't burn. tada. don't expect it to taste fried though
Absolutely correct. And according to the longevity gurus you’ll probably have a better quality of life and live longer (especially if you’re into fasting!)
I just discovered your channel, and I LOVE it! Thank you so much for making these videos, I have been looking for a system of some sort without realizing it for years now. I am going to show my Father as well, who I'm sure could benefit too!
Great video! Love how you broke down calorie density with the oil. Oil is loaded with calories and fat which can lead to weight gain or difficulties losing weight. Not to mention oils are not good for our arteries and can lead to heart attack or stroke. High fat diets are also linked to type two diabetes because fat clogs up the insulin receptors so that when you eat your natural energy source (carbs) the insulin that's released to deal with those carbs can't get into their receptors efficiently thus uncontrolled blood sugar levels. I also love how you break down the actual technique of stir frying with little to no oil. I have been stirfrying with water for a while but tend to overcook the veggies which I don't like. I'm gunna try this way and hope for success. Do you have a video that addresses the kind of cookware you want for oil free frying? I don't use non stick and have stainless steel cookware and bamboo/silicone/plastic cooking utensils.
Ive done that with broccoli, asparagus and green pepper, added them to a very hot wok and just kept moving it about to stop it burning until they started to blister and turn bright green, then turned the heat off added a tiny bit of olive oil to help the salt and pepper stick and it turned out fine

Such a good, concise, helpful, healthy demonstration. 😀

And then mix these perfectly steamed vegetables with boiled legumes and potatoes millet or oats with a few nuts and lots of fruit..!😜🙏🏽
I feel it’s ok to use olive oil sometimes and in moderation if you are already healthy and strong.. imo… it tastes good!

You took my first comment!

I would like to see you cook the vegetables with NO oil.

When you say share. It reminds me of my Asian parents telling me and my brother off for fighting over food when growing up.
Great video Tak! 🔥
Great video, thank you so much for sharing. Ignore the entitled, rude and demanding people in the comments.
Tak I cut the chicken and saved it in plastic bag i’m so happy with the system. Dinner was ready in 30 minutes!
I'm so excited about your teaching. Thank you. I never buy from Amazon suggestionsfrom
Can you waterfry like this on a cast iron or carbon steel wok (without introducing problems with rust)?
you'll remove your seasoning and might make your food taste weird. I've water fried foods in cast iron before and I don't recommend it.
I need to use more water based because oil adds 100 cals a pop
Guess I missed the part about stir-fry without oil. Title is "can you - not how to".
very informative!
Oops. I want to buy a wok because of your teaching. However, I don't see that you have an Amazon link. I'd like for you to get credit.
👍👍
We need to meet Doug… :)
Please edit "fryuing".
Bunch of nonsense!
