really helpful video, most videos just explain the basic way the rwr works but this one goes into some principles that make it much easier to interpret
Mighty informative. I like to think if someone devoted enough time to watching DCS videos or playing it, they could very well actually take off and fly in one of these. Of course a game can't supplement the real thing, especially when considering this is the MiG-21 we're talking about.
Thanks for the comment. I suppose you could learn procedures such as starting an airplane, perhaps taxi it to the runway. Everything else is probably a very different experience :)
Hey mate fantastic explaination and thanks for the translation! You wouldn't happen to know what it means when the RWR gives you a lock tone but doesn't show any lights? I have had this happen a lot when flying low in terrain on a PVP server going up against modern jets. I believe it means I have been locked by a radar but it hasn't gone STT maybe?
Thanks for the comment! I can't say that I know what the situation you describe might be. The manual doesn't mention it. I doubt that MiG-21s RWR is sensitive enough that it can sense a soft lock or tell the difference between variations in modern radar modes. It could be a bug.

Sjetio se tebe kad sam pročitao da Grci nisu poslali ponudu. Što misliš o aktualnim ponudama? Nekako mi se čini da bi mogao proći Rafale. S Izraelcima se možda neće opet igrati nakon onog neuspjeha a američki F-16 novi tko zna kad će biti proizveden.
