In this video i take a look at the SJCAM SJ5000X Elite action camera that costs somewhere around $100. The camera is powered by the Novatek 96660 CPU that is paired with the Sony IMX078 Image sensor. The camera can record in 4K at 24fps. Throughout the video you will be able to see lots of sample footage, check out the microphone recordings, image stabilization and much more.

Alex, I am sorry the intro isn't bad, but I also prefer the last one. BUT I don't watch your channel for the intro, I watch it for the excellent content. So keep trying to find the intro that's suits you! Experiment! It's fun to wonder what will be the intro!

pe partea de video nu ma pronunt dar la foto ar trebui sa incerci si PhotoLapse si foto pe timp de noapte. Permite timpi lungi de expunere un lucru rar la camerele de actiune. Comenzile manuale necesare nu merg din telefon. In meniul din camera poti alege (cu butoane) la Exposure Time pana la 60 sec. S-ar putea sa intereseze pe aceia (ca mine) care fac si PhotoLapse noaptea.
+Zoli Deak salut, incerc sa fac videourile pana on 10 minute... Si nu este sufficient timp sa arat totul... Stii ce zici, si inteleg ca ar fi si oameni interesati de long exposure... Dar incerc sa arat cat de mult pot in timpul disponibil

hey Alex I think it's pretty much a good time for you to get a cheap Sony action cam and compare it to some chinese camera. The reason is $200 Sony budget actioncams looks like they so much better than chinese bands

why when the GYRO on 1080 * 30 fps and below the picture on the screen is shaking by itself? is it a defect? version 1.51 - s
it should have fairly good image stabilization for 1080P recordings... mine did ok for stabilization

Yep. Updated to latest firmware, there it is!! Don't know yet if it makes a difference or not.

If I were to upgrade from the 5000x elite to anything but a go pro consider sj7 star or sj6 legend or yi k4 mijia gitup dual camera are my local options

Looks good in daylight but AWFUL at night. I think they should balance the resolution with the frame rate as the 4k @ 24 fps makes my eyes go meh.

I wouldn’t use this or any action camera indoors… the quality isn’t great if you don’t have daylight

I don't know if fw 1.5.6 broke video quality totally or SJCAM sells different hardware under the same name but currently this camera offers cr@p quality. Look for SJ5000X Elite vs GoPro 8 Black comparison video and you will see that video quality is far worse than what you can see in this review. Consider this review outdated since it doesn't apply to what is currently selled as SJ5000X Elite.
