My mentor advised me to ask a SAVED male friend in my life to be one to fill my "love tank!" She helped me realize sometime you need affirmation from a male and not your sister/friend (cuz it's different). I told him " When I call you and tell you that I'm struggling, I need you to remind me why I'm waiting." Shout out to my brother n law and sister for building this bear!🥰
He has to want to supply that to you. First he must be relationship healthy. He must understand his purpose. He must have an understanding of who the woman is. He must understand his position. He must be secure within himself. Sincerity cannot be faked. It is instant and sustainable.
I know this podcast is called Dear Hubby but my GOD it minsters to me every episode. I see so much of me in Jessica it’s scary. I appreciate your transparency, vulnerability and authenticity. Welcome back Ms Reedy, good to have you back ❤ I'm reminded of a season not so long ago... I knew I truly loved God. Read the bible, knew scripture etc. But it would take me years to realize that I never did let God truly and completely love me. (He eventually revealed this when I became truly undone at His feet) It was a shock. Some hearts need His love first before anyone else. Before that, no one will ever love us right. After that He will let you into His mind where your love lies and waits for you. (Just sharing) #special hearts #may your love find you 💞❣
If we allow God to do the choosing for us where it comes to a spouse, it'll eliminate half of the problems we sometimes experience. We must learn to wait on the Lord, and he shall strengthen our hearts. Let GOD choose. I promise he knows just what we need! Problems come when WE choose what WE think we need. Let us also remember that marriage is supposed to be a replica of God's relationship with the church; marriage isn't for selfish reasons and our ideas of who we need. Let's not forget that as Christians, we are interested in GOD'S WILL FOR OUR LIVES, not our own will; whether that is in career, in relationships, in our next move etc., His plans for us are PERFECT. We hurt God each and every day and he does not throw us away, he does not give up! We need to learn to be longsuffering and love like Jesus loves us! May God help us!

I’m a hairstylist and that was a big deal for me perfectionist but I learned that I did my best and step back and let go and my ladies love their hair then on the flip side I know I can’t please everybody!!! Big eye opener and I learned to rest and let it be!!
Somethings you have to wait until the presents itself. You can’t be prepared for something that you don’t even know what it looks like. When something presents itself to you and you don’t like the way is being presented you deal with it then and say no thank you. If you like it you accept it. It’s a journey life is a journey is not an is not a destination. You gonna forever learn more and more about yourself. But like your friend said you can’t set the bar so high to where you by yourself. What I found is that it’s not about the thing it’s about Hall and how it’s being presented. You can say you want loyalty and respect and honesty but it all depends on who it’s coming from and how they’re delivering it.
That responsibility to helping a man makes me hott at times!! But if I can be a help meet I will as long as he is in agreement with me!! Every body up bringing is different!! It’s ok to give chance!
