Looks like fun. We are goin out today to see if we can get any bass to bite. You are spot on about this spring, it has been nuts cold here compared to previous years. I tested water temp in a shallow pond the other day and it was just barely 50 degrees…crazy
@Dominic Martinez pretty good! Let's just say you're gonna be the star of the show😂 I wish I had gotten a few more shots and I forgot my drone but it's gonna be good!
You said the fish is milking, it’s actually called MILT. And the big spawning eyes will be in deeper water during the day when they’re spawning. They’ll come up shallow at night. That’s why you’re catching so many small eyes.
Hey brother thanks for checking out the video!! I personally just like joking around saying they're milking, but also know that is it milt! & for me the tug is the drug, such a fun time catching these fish regardless of size but of course always nice getting a big girl🎣🎣 appreciate your comment brother
Yeah brother here's a jerkbait video I did from the shore last weekend! Other then that honestly I'd fish swimbaits in the same way we were in this video fish should he cruising shallow, higher percentage of catch at night and also depending on what lake your fishing if you have a gravel bottom I would cast a night crawler on a jig head and slowly bounce and work it back to you!
About 80% of the Tackle I use I get from Karl's gokarls.com/fishingco but these crappie thumpers I bought from the Big Bite Baits website! The fin spin jig heads I bought on Amazon
I've always wanted to fish on that side of Chatfield. I will this year!
I'm with ya on the weather! Ready for some warm weather to try out the Hover Rig.
Great video can’t wait to get out there and start touching them. Going to get the boat out next week.
