These guys are killing those tiger musky. Why are they using such light tackle and a small net. It is a dam shame! Thirty to thirty-five inches is not big for a musky, even for a tiger musky. Tiger muskies do not reproduce. Killing a thirty inch tiger guarantees will never see a forty-eight inch fish. These guy need to learn how to Handel those fish. Also, never hold one by the gill and let it hang without supporting it.

Very Nice Mike! One of my favorite places to fish. Its hog city all day and night!! During the summer we fish it at night and cast mouse patterns and them big ole brownies eat them all night

I can catch like 10 fish everyday at Quincy and Cherry creek but can never catch a fish at Aurora

Maybe get a three or 400 size bait casting reel with a heavier, extra heavy rod you’ll be able to handle these Fish so much better

Went here today, was basically frozen across the top 90% coverage. There were spots in the ice where 30-40 fish were congregating, it was insane. At the highest pond there were some bigguns to, crystal clear. Only caught one tiny guy today.

I carry a water temperature thermometer to check the temp of the water so if its too hot you will know not to fish. I mostly fish early morning when its cool and stop around 11. Never fished the south platte, only the north platte, big T and Poudre. will need to give it a try next year.
