I am currently a 15 year old sophomore in high school setting big goals for myself constantly. I am doing a career research project on the Security Forces! My family is made up of military and police officers and I knew that I would continue this family tradition. So as soon as I found the security forces I knew that's where I wanted to go! When I graduate high school I will be one of the youngest in my class at 17. I honestly cant wait!

I have kept watching the videos of the military police and I work on tractors and I am doing my best to study for the ASVAB test , I pray that I will make a good score on it, and the reason I would join this type of job is because I grew up with a hard life and I have been bullied in school and I dropped out but through the years I earned my highschool diploma online. I choose the military police because I would love to practice martial arts; to become my Dad's favorite actors and martial artists: Steven Seagal, Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee.

How does this training differ from the training enlisted Security Forces receive? I was a Law Enforcement Specialist in 1972-1976 enlisted, and wish we had this training. In college I was in a Police Cadet Corp majoring in LE and our self defense was putting on gloves and going up against others, sometimes with Golden Gloves experience, what a slaughter.

@@chris4shore To avoid us getting into a comment-pissing match, let's just meet in the middle and say Security Forces after tech school is not as high speed, and the future of many of these airmen involve sitting in a shack watching a red line.

Remember union members, call 9-11 before you do anything.
That's almost as tough as Army supply training.

This is the Officer course. The Officer and Enlisted course has recently been streamlined... Now Officers train right next to the Enlisted men and women.

@@ignaciotanguma3572 the National Guard does NOT have any K9s, so that's a no for the Guard. I'm pretty sure the Reserve you would have that opportunity if your unit is located with an active duty K9 unit. You'd have to further research that though, I'm not too savvy about the specifics of K9 in the reserves.
