Shahid is single handedly instilling the "proud to be muslim" feeling back into a lot of people. Allhumdulilah. The constant, daily attack on our faith that has continued unabated and unchallenged for the past 30 years, has finally met its match. He also sends a subtle mesage to many of us to go back to "IQRA". To go back to reading. I hope many of us get this message.
May Allah continue to guide his thought processes, his tongue and his wisdom. May Allah always guide and protect him and his family. Inshallah Ameen.

What are you saying brother ? That the confidence in your faith, the faith in your religion and the consistency of your beleif(s) and what goes with them ( ex pride ) fluctuate upon, if not completely depend on external factors like intellectual controversies, thoughts, political positions, juridical decisions, social attacks or aprovements etc...? That is not even a shame, it is a terrible sadness. Terrible.

@@chehrazadeesmey8399 Ermmm. Like you are here commenting in cyberspace, the attack on Islam in cyberspace has been unrelenting. Leave my faith and "religiosity" out of it. This is current geo politics. Don't conflate the two. I know which foot to enter the masjid with, but I didn't have a clue how to deal with the attacks on Islam in a clear, educated and informed manner. My faith and belief in Islam is unwavering, but while I have learnt absolutely nothing from you except inactivateness, and "not tying your camel", I've gained a lot of knowledge from Shahid. I would like to read your detailed mind about the way how we Muslims should should react and deal with our surrounded world (hopefully read them in Arabic).
SecondlyYou said that Muslim families should try to live in Islamic countries instead of getting threatened by the western libiral values. But;don't you know, that these Islamic countries are ruled by regimes, that work for the western world and they are more destructive to families than the west itself? (see is behind us and the enemy is in front of us? Can you give a better advice than this?

What truly impressed me about this individual was that he effortlessly conveyed ideas, analyses, scenarios, and numerical concepts that inundated your thoughts and subconscious, leaving you overwhelmed with myriad conclusions. It wasn't about his choice of words, his speaking style, or his confidence; it was his ability to articulate the very thoughts and ideas you struggled to put into words for years. After 35 years, he presented a 20-minute video(I'm not just referring to this video; I've watched most of his content.) that succinctly encapsulated what you had longed to express, simplifying complex ideas into readily understandable vocabulary. In short, hats off to this remarkable Man .

Thank you brother Shahid for your wonderful insights. I'm a Muslim myself who unfortunately wasn't as devoted to the religion and faith as my father and other relatives are, I can't even speak Arabic properly compared to some of my cousins who aren't even five years old yet, but I want to change and turn myself around because I now understand just how important religion is because it's not just about being conscious of God and Judgement Day, it's also about being conscious of ourselves and who we are as people. It helps us and guides us into becoming the best version of ourselves. It's a hard process though, I'm trying to get what is essentially 25+ or so years of western poison out of my system.
Unfortunately, the west just can't understand this, the west has this undying belief that people have to be free to choose the lives that they want to live and to do what they want, and any law against that is seen as a form of oppression. The thing I've come to understand about freedom though is that freedom is a double-edged sword. Freedom needs restraints (Direction, Discipline, Purpose), otherwise it breeds chaos, and western society is chaotic right now because it's free without restraint. The Muslim world is a free world too, it just practices that freedom more responsibly because it has restraint.

It’s 100% truth, it must be the general moral standard, the inner perspective based on one’s Gods consciousness, that is the result of lower criminality rates in Muslim countries, even though our financial situation is generally lower than western countries. Hudud alone cannot create this. Many of us have not reflected upon this. Very good point!

Crime and corruption is very high in Pakistan, from the top of the political and corporate ladders, down to the impoverished . Plus many young people from the upper class are becoming self proclaimed atheists like its a fashion statement.
There are many ex Muslims in the Middle East too, including a large portion of Iranians (especially the Western ones).
Perhaps apostasy law is not enforced because it primarily exists to prevent corruption in society. Moroccan Rachid is right, for doing what he does publicly for a living, he in particular may not have been pardoned after a fair trial if he was in muslim country. His social media accounts would have been banned from the onset.
Most death penalty crimes require eye witnesses and he has an audience of millions.
Governments are not bothered with peoples personal choices in 'most' countries, as long as their actions and beliefs don't harm others.

@@Saby217 There are ofcourse exceptions within every argument, however pakistan is not a good exception...Yes, crime rates are increasing however they are still significantly less than western countries which have a much more abundance of wealth among their people. According to the crime index, as of 2023, the US has a crime index of 49.2 meanwhile pakistan has a crime index of 42.8. The argument can be made that Pakistan cannot be compared to the US because logically speaking, since the US has a higher population, more crime will occur. This argument is also invalid as, the crime index of france as of 2023 is 54.6! and france has a much lower population than pakistan(70 mill compared to 231) so we can conclude that some sort of problem does indeed exist in western societies, even when compared to the more unstable muslim countries. Besides, pakistan does not properly implement the hudud crimes, now for a personal story. Back when the war on terror didn't happen, the western side of pakistan near afganistan had almost no military or police, local tribes had their own forms of application of justice, and their punishments were strict. And since these were villages and small towns, people knew one another and did not want to steal or rob one another, there was a sense of understanding within the community, combined with the piousness and general morality in these people lead to these small towns and villages being one of the safest areas I have ever visited in my life!

@@Condemn- Appreciate you read newspapers but reality is way different. Not the forum to detail a proper response. Go live there and see if you can get anything legit done without having to bribe or if you can freely move around without a high probability of getting robbed. Investigate government spendings and where grants and funding go while tens of millions don't have food, forget health care .. and thats just base level problems, the list is very long. And please don't relay how well the top desensitised percentile live in their bubbles. Pakistanis in the west who go back for weddings, fun, food and shopping for a couple weeks once every few years are absolutely clueless!
Thanks to good charitable people some issues for a few blessed souls are alleviated, but these are mainly private endeavours, and from zakat.
Without political connections, basic human rights and survival are at stake everyday, predicament of the poor and lower middle classes which is the majority of the population. The suicide rate won't be in the stats you review.

It all boils down to Ihsan. As a Muslim most of us have a very strong sense of God-awareness and we are always aware that God can see us and knows what we do regardless of how extensively we make an effort to conceal our crimes. That in itself is a deterrent which prevents a practicing God-conscious Muslim from committing crimes.

Beautiful speech brother Shahid. There is also one point or let me say a concept which protect a muslim from doing crime: The knowledge about the day of judgement and the muslim will be judge by Allah for his good and bad deeds and that Allah watching you all day, hour and second in your live and doings. This is a beautiful judge system which not exist in the world of non Muslims. This concept helps us muslim so much to do not bad things. This brings also the crime rate down. Jazakallah khairan

He brings up good points about strict laws and punishments. In some countries in Asia they have strictness as well and their society is NOT like the Western world. Is it “jealousy “ as well…? No one wants to HAVE to or LIKES to punish, but even in the Bible and all Abrahamic religions have strictness and punishments for reasons. People have gotten soo far way from it and wonder why the way people are and why the world is the way it is today..
Truth is truth.. a lot of people don’t see it more care to. I guess they just think some how the world and people are going to miraculously “fix” themselves…. Wishful thinking people…
