Huge WWW. Your playstyle is similar to mine and I died at least once in the gauntlet every single time I tried at P-2 (minus the p-rank run). You can definitely get that p-rank easy if you try bro. For strats I would consider abusing nukes (core eject + malicious railcannon) in the blood tunnels and insurrectionist room for a time save and definitely using blue + orange saw traps on pretty much the whole level (espescially sisyphus during his speech). In the hallway before the double mindflayer room theres a big time saver if you parry a cannonball into the cerberus point blank since they take extra damage from rockets (1.5x I think?) and cannonballs. Also you can instakill a maurice by shooting its own projectiles with your sharpshooter after it spits them out. Make sure to dash-slide/slide jump too! Hope this helps!
