i love how ultrakill just show something to us and make we ask "can I just... ?" and immediately said "yes"

So when i tell you that you [+ Parry] This man, It's basically the rule instead of the exception
@@femmesammy8768 same thoughts here :D ???
@@sultanbaba1230 He's basically saying whatever you think you can do, you can probably do it in Ultra Kill. For example “what if I use my coin and shoot my rail cannon at it?” And the answer would be yes, you can do that, and it'll do a lot of damage.
nah bro i asked this game "can i kill earthmover by damaging his body?" and the answer was "Nah"
The corpse of King Minos was a giant husk, and the leviathan was a giant demon. We just finished off with a giant machine, maybe a giant angel? Or a giant ???
Giant - Corpse of King Minos
Giant Angel - Corpse of Lucifer??
Nah we aint fighting luci, hakita said.
I’m betting we’ll fight an actual Giant at the end of Fraud since Ultrakill is based off of Dante’s Inferno
What if it's the body of god? Since it was said that he disappeared. What if he could have died during his disappearance. or maybe that's for P-3...
@@mistuo4133Hakita said we wouldnt fight God because that'd be lame and besides, didnt God just outright disappear so he could wait for everything to sie off so he could restart
As much as i love the earthmover i really wish the brain was harder or atleast had more arenas grear video tho! It covers everything everyone thought about the centhur
True, I wish the brain either had more health to allow players to actually reach the more difficult parts of the fight, or have more mechanics to make it even more interesting. I mean, people would still find ways to Ultraricodeadrailcoin Benjamin into oblivion... ;)
@@coldbrewYT im people
Tbh the brain was kinda too easy even on violent, you can easily kill it without even getting to the idol section by just parrying and sawtraps
The lasers were much faster when the update came out, but got nerfed in the patch
A shame, but understandable given how there’s 2 other harder difficulties that’ll come out
I think it makes sense for brain to be easy for us and V1, if of course the theory of V1 being a counter for Earthmovers is true.
Whoever created the Earthmovers during the war probably didn't think that anything or anyone will be able to get past security into the brain itself.
I mean, this was the "final" war machine after all, how the hell do you want to counter that, right?
Plot twist: he becomes a recurring enemy type like the swords machine and ferry man, and is even featured in the cyber grind.
If he was in the cyber grind, I could see him being in the background Of the arena and fighting you from there
@@robertkennedy4114 *gets blown up by the lightning rod mid wave*
@@Richard-iv3ii 💀💀
@@robertkennedy4114 ok cool now let me yap about how it could be expanded on as an idea:
They appear in the backround and aren't counted as enemies yet they attack you.
There will be a timer telling you to get out of the arena before there's an explosion, it puts you on 1 health if your health is over 50 (hard damage included) but will instantly kill you if it's 50 or less.
You can actually parry the shot, making it guranteed the earthmover can't shoot for another 6 waves. (It has a chance to shoot every 3 waves)
It can only shoot once 4 or less enemies are left, and the wave won't end untill the earthmover has shot.
@@wafflecubewithsyrup good idea
7-4 is also the first level where we canonically hear:
-Cry of pure fear towards V1
-V1 screaming (I am not counting the sound V1 makes when guttertank punches him, that's more like a sound of pain)
When do we hear V1 scream
@@Dan-fn1uw Right after Earthmover explodes
@@GnomeKr wait, the sound effect that plays at the very end of the song? Or am I missing something?
@@canedaoinutil9395 Well, yeah, basically
I do not know if Hakita meant it to be V1's scream of... joy perhaps? however the fact that this sound is really similar to other robotic voices we hear, it's not used anywhere else in this song (unstretched that is) AND that it plays right as we fall down to the exit (and even lasts long enough that it ends exactly the moment we land) suggests that it may be V1 just doing "wee" or something...
@@GnomeKr I never thought that way but this is genuinely beautiful and I'll add it to my headcanons now

Ultrakill is no less of a miracle for the low end gamers out there. sure it maybe cheesy in some rooms but the overall experience this game gives to anyone, the cocaine-ish gameplay and the amazing soundtrack with the community thriving and active, its like having a dream game. the thing i love most about the earthmover is the idea that V1 was _made_ to destroy it, this thing has been stuck there forever, the earth has grown around its feet, and has been locked in combat with the opposing earthmover for who knows how long. when it notices V1, it immediately breaks off from that combat, in an attempt to destroy them before V1 can get to work at its purpose. this massive thing, takes time out of its fight to the death, to try and attack YOU specifically
erm actually the earth didn’t grow around its feet but those are the roots of the trees you grow in 7-3

3:30 okay when you put it like that it makes V1 WAY more badass lol
I think is normal fear this thing after it is basicly in a rush of killing Hell layers
you gained a like just for the "except for P-2, that's just CIA grade torture." line
Every robot was built to counter the last, which will explain the screaming that you hear from the earth mover, but it also explains the self-destruction that happens after you destroy the brain. My theory is when the creators of the Earth Mover found out about V1, they made it specifically so the only way for you to kill it is from the inside by destroying its brain, and once you destroy its brain it starts a self-destruction mechanism that locks you inside the earth mover, causing you and whatever inside to blow up with it.
nah, its stated when the earthmovers were first created they already couldnt be destroyed from the outside
V1 was never used in the final war

V1 being a counter to it makes sense it wasn’t a super hard fight was it tricky yeah but nothing like the other colossal bosses honestly the hardest part of the fight was me thinking the door I came in through was the exit otherwise king Minos and leviathan were hard
can't wait for hakita to drop the most banger 8-4 boss that makes this video look so false it could be reported for misinformation
really makes you wonder how terrified the other earth mover must've been, like imagine your fighting another earthmover and it stops targetting you, only for you to see it explode in a few seconds and only then you'll realize you should've let it shoot down at V1
Probably should have thought "what the fuck is over there that is scarier than me?!"
just 1 robot to take down a moving base
3:34 If V1 never made it past production, wouldn't that mean that the Earthmover wouldn't know what V1 is?
I wish the brain fight was more complex
3:37 it wasn’t built with V1 in mind my guy
I'd say it’s designed with smaller enemies trying to blow it up in mind, with the defense system and the lasers near the brain, so it most likely can tell V1 is capable of that from watching it tear through violence with ease
@@coldbrewYT it’s designed with destruction in mind. something that large would normally not have to worry about ant-sized nuisances like basic machine soldiers (not to say that V1 is basic, but should the Earthmover really be scared of something that size?). additionally, as V1 is a prototype, it was presumably kept secret, so Earthmover manufacturers wouldn’t even know that V1 existed.
@@coldbrewYT assuming it was one of the Earthmovers in 7-2 and/or the one in 7-3, fair point

peak ending
@@josephsiddiqui6472 yes the execution is well but the machine explodes in big parts and 70% of it just vanishes
@@tropical2153 yh but its still fine since its massive lol
My only real criticism of this boss fight is that it should've been more threatening. I guess it's good to make it a bit easy for first-time players but I wish the earthmover could actually blow you up at the start of the level if you don't get out of the way in time. Have those turrets from the security system be present throughout the entire level (but have less health and not count towards overall kills) so it feels like the earthmover is actually defending itself. Also, that escape sequence at the end has BANGER-ASS music but you don't get to hear it because there's only ONE short encounter! If any ultrakill level has needed a master version, it's this one. It's not a bad level, but I guess it's just so good that it feels like missed potential not having it be absolute peak.
*B E N J A M I N*
its very funny that the earthmover loses its shit at a BLUE INSUFFUCIENT FUCKING ANT

@@coldbrewYT it happened in less than a month
tbh i wish in the earthmover fight, instead of fighting ennemies then the brain, you fight the FULL earthmover whike he’s moving, and then you get to its brain
The fight would be so much better ngl, cuz rn it feels more like an usual level than a boss
not gonna lie, the combat sequence after the brain is probably the hardest for me
we got colossal husk, colossal demon and colossal robot....
next: COLOSSAL ANGEL
honestly while i really do like the level itself, it's one of my favorites in fact, the actual two boss fights in the level itself were way too simple and underwhelming. minotaur kinda was too, it felt like the 3 boss fights we got in this layer focused too much on having a gimmick (the trams for minotaur, the several parts of the defense system, and the lasers of the brain, that and defense system and brain being small parts of a larger level) so the fights themselves had to be dumbed down as a result, making it so imo really only the 2nd phase minotaur gets to be a fun boss fight on its own.
it's really telling when the highlight of the main boss level for the layer is a regular enemy encounter instead of the actual boss. violence really shows the main problem i personally have with ultrakill: it focuses way too little on the boss fights so very few of the fights themselves actually get to be memorable or fun.
Agreed
killing the earthmover left me fucking having a panic attack seeing that i just took a behemoth down. yh the actual brain fight could have been better but imma be honest killing this giant metal powerhouse was all i needed
I personally thought "Oh fuck, it screams, I just wanna leave", but I never thought It'd think "Oh fuck, an ant, I need to kill it before it kills me", tbh, I truly like the idea of us going INSIDE the boss, like a bacteria.
I never thought about the sound the Earthmover makes when he sees you being one of terror. I also never noticed he stops fighting the other Earthmover to take you down. The more I play this game the more shitty I feel, I think V1 isn't actually evil because machines can't have morals, emotion and all of the stuff that makes up a conscious mind. However, I have all that shit and I feel terrible lol.
to make you feel worse, id like to remind you that machines do display emotions, like swordsmachines getting enraged, V2 making gestures that are pointless for machines and also getting enraged when you hit him with his arm or fight like a pussy
@@scrubysponge7282 I never thought of the enraged state as a state of actual rage for some reason, but I see that. The gestures as well, the gestures V2 does when he sees V1 shows he has some sort of sportsmanship. Yeah, I already felt like shit killing V2 because he's not even a brutal war robot, he's basically just a civil protector. It's not bad to feel this way though, it's adding to the depth of the game for sure!
one of the other examples of massive bosses are the scarifs from the Halo franchise. I always wished they were better utilized in a gameplay standpoint, but 7-4 *certainly* satisfies that itch that they left me
As a level I love it, feels like it's from super mario galaxy
As a boss tho.. nah, doesn't feel like it at all
I absolutely get why it's structured like this in-terms of the story and diversity between the bosses, but it just doesn't feel like one. It feels like a normal level with normal enemies and an obstacle course at the end. I wish there was more to it than just that.
The only game I can possibly think of using the idea of a collosal boss as a level itself is Grandia II. It's a whole ass location where we walk inside of Valmar (that is it's name).
Pressure is out it look like ultrakill but under water in roblox
bro pressure is a horror game...
They are completely different...
Technically the Earthmover is the best boss since it’s an entire level, but it’s brain stage (where you actually kill it) is worse than the swordsmachine fight
1:26 "General Kenobi..."
Most people see this level as easy, and I can see why. Although, it makes sense, considering that you, V1, were designed to kill Earthmovers.
i think the major objetive of v1 is to kill an earthmover, and he got ANOTHER major objective by defeating gabriel 2 times, he wants to kill gabriel as much as gabriel wants to kill him
edit: also he beat a greater version of himself (v2)
nnah gabriel is just another thing to kill
in reality v1 is just slaughtering everything
Pissyphus and minos are goated ngl
quick trivia, every machine in the great war was made to counter the last, as V1 was the last machine designed that means... V1 WAS DESIGNED TO KILL THE EARTHMOVERS
he already said that in the video
i like think that sentrys were made to take down the guttertanks
imagine being so big that u the whole level
I feel like this level, while incredible on its own, would have been even better if the body of the earthmover shifted just a bit as it dealt and received blows. Just another thing to remind you that you're scaling an active war machine.
Unpopular opinion: Personally I absolutely love the lore of the whole violence layer and especially that of the eathmover. However in terms of ost and to a lesser extent gameplay I found the earthmover a bit underwhelming. I find war without reason to be repetitive (especially the opening alarm section) and tbh in terms of gameplay I much prefer 7-3 with its epic arena battles to 7-4, which is just an easy gauntlet level taking place on a spectacular setpiece. It’s a shame because other people seem to enjoy 7-4 much more than me and I would be grateful if someone could explain to me what they love so much about this level.
For the ost, the alarm bit only plays for 30 seconds until you encounter the sentry. also every part of the ost sounds amazing lol
also the gauntlet, yes, its easy asf. however slowly climbing this fucking giant while fighting a bunch of enemies is fun as shit, especially with the ost and constant thundering earthmover attacks, you are constantly knowing what you are up against while fighting weaker enemies.
Its fine fighting weaker enemies sine you are still hyped up by fighting this thing.
also the ending with the music going nuts, being inside it having to kill all enemies in 60 seconds. and going on the jumppad and watching this giant thing explode is just amazin
im pretty sure there are other games where the boss fight is also part of the set piece, i can't think of any names besides Mini Ninjas's last boss but im sure i have seen it in other video game media
1:45 quick correction, it isnt bigger than the previous 2, but the previous one. its larger then the leviathan. How ever not minos
EarthMover: 600~ meters
Corpse of king minos: ~10 - 14 km
minos is a whole lot larger then the earthmover
The Earthmover's in-game model is much larger (~20% iirc) than Minos, that was the comparison I was making
Lmfaoo where the fuck did you get 14 kilometers?

People saying its coming back in P-3:
Maybe the best Colossal boss, but Minos will probably forever be my favorite (haven't fought against sisyphus yet, and p-3 hasn't yet been released)
Are you sure benjamin targets you at the start of the fight? It seems to very clearly throw it's lightning attack into the far distance at the other earthmover. I'm not sure if it's even capable of attacking something so close to it.
if I'm not wrong that's a different earthmover hitting it, because the railgun is aimed at V1 and it also gets knockback from the hit
I'm just disappointed on how easy it was to beat the brain, you don't even need to dodge the lasers because of the painfully slow projectile being so easy to parry for health
on the topic of bosses that are also the level the strider from armored core 6 is pretty similar in some ways like the boss hp bar always being visible etc (i still like benjamin more)
Earthmover is pretty good, I just wish that the brain fight was actually fun
6-2 is still the best
nah bro earthmover is the worst collosal boss, like the boss is just the core and not the massive giant, 5-4 is way better.
Kovacek Lodge
earthmover was the most fun boss in my opinion
While, I do think that the Earthmover is great and all, saying that he’s better than Minos Prime just, feels wrong.
minos is just some jacked guy
saying that minos is better than Sisyphus feels even more wrong.
While I do think the Earthmover is one of the best bosses in the game, I don't think it's the best (Sisyphus Prime my beloved ❤). It's at least a top 5 boss fight in the game though. From the scope to traveling throughout the massive thing, and ultimately killing it, it does make for a memorable boss that won't be forgotten.
I do however think that the boss is a bit too easy. Not saying the boss has to be Minos Prime levels of hard, but I would have liked it to be a little harder. Maybe that will change with the new brutal difficulty that's coming soon (or UKMD, who knows).
Still a fun ass boss to fight though.
Earthmover on Brutal about to be hell
Problem with earthmover, it's more of a level than a boss to me.
earthmover is the best boss in video game history fight me
Honestly the earthmover in my opinion is the worst boss fight. Compared to all the other bosses you barely actually fight the earthmover. And the fact that the security system is a more interesting fight than the actual brain speaks to how it just isn’t as fun as others.
the brain room couldve been done better. Such as have the head move making the whole room flip or change maybe even have spikes come out the walls. its probably the best and shortest boss ever.
0:43 Earthmovers, not earthmover :)
I have to disagree with you, in the sense that this is a VERY GOOD boss but Sisyphus remains the best so far imo
You’d better be kidding with that thumbnail.
Its funny cause I thought this was the worst boss cause the actual boss portion is like a minute or less long and is way way way too easy
Also where did the two earth movers clearly shown next to it go? Not to mention the fact that the enemy earthmover is so hard to see so far away. I didn't even know it was there until someone told me. I was just confused my earth mover getting blown back. Not to mention the explosion against it barely lines up. Keep that in mind with the fact that theses are the only too scenery to be seen on the ground and the fact that neither earthmovers take any damage from each other, the level just feels like im playing a normal level with a background animation playing on loop. It dosn't feel alive at all.
its a boss? half the level your just climbing up it
No
a boss with 1 attack is the best boss of ultrakill? my man, if hakita placed reskinned hideous mass in centaur's brain that would be more fun than whatever shit we got. Boss levels (oh wow) are boss levels, why tf earthmover has his defence system only on one part of his body? and the fight against his defence system isn't something extraordinary too, that thing can't fight back. the level is BO-RING. What am i escaping from in escape sequence? timer? Well timer isn't something scary. 7-4 for me is one of the worst bosses in all of ultrakill, you like not the level itself but the concept of it.
nah, i love both the level and the idea surrounding it.
its fucking amazing, i know its so incredibly easy however it makes up for it with the slow escalating up the earthmover
also tf you mean boring you are on a giant behemoth shooting laser beams, if thats boring idfk whats not
@@josephsiddiqui6472 the concept of climbing a massive metallic giraffe is wonderful, but the gameplay is objectively not good. defense system is a static boss that isn't really anything rad, like, this is the first time we see something full static and it's... Not really fun imo. The bossfight against the brain introduces the mechanic of pink lasers but... That's it. The bossfight itself is kinda mid, that thing has only one attack and its parryable. Though i agree, my hate on escape sequence was unnecessary and silly, i think my other points still stand. The idea of the level is cool but the gameplay itself is dogwater. I mean, I can't judge hakita, its his first try to do a boss level, but i still think that the level doesn't deserve the attention it has.
