Struggled with this issue in TurboTax for several hours. Seems that one of the 32 bit files in my old Windows 64 bit system was bad. Replaced it and all is now well. Thanks. I didn't even know that the 32 bit VB Redistributable was now required for TT. Either there is a new requirement or one of the many MSFT "updates" was flawed. My bet is the latter since almost every time there is one of those incessant updates, my "D" drive seems to disappear. Thanks for posting your solution.

I downloaded a bunch of instrument plug ins for my music DAW that I probably shouldn't have and when uninstalling them I deleted the C++ file and the program wouldn't open. I already soluted this, I just needed to intal rockstar launcher ant log in with my social club acount and GTA V just started working.
