Over the years, Pokemon has released countless moves across each individual generation. Some of them have been excellent like Make it Rain or Astral Barrage and some others not so much such as leer or tackle. In this video, I will be covering the 50 best moves in competitive singles Pokemon (OU and below). Q: Where is the gameplay from?
A: Pokemon Showdown
Q: How are the sprites looking like generation 5?
A: Click the settings button and you can change the sprite display
Q: Why is the gameplay have the opponent being dumb?
A: Well surprise its me playing as the opponent as well and having Pokemon faint every 5 seconds isn't as fun as seeing the Pokemon do something in the battle for some time, which is why the gameplay seems like the opponent is braindead. Although I have taken some feedback and have tried to make it more interesting as possible without making the Pokemon faint every 5 seconds for hopefully better entertainment.

fighting type is usually better as a coverage move than as a stab move I'd say, and low kick is more suitable as a coverage move

Sleep moves and baton pass are banned and shell smash doesn't have any good users

Seeing these moves while being a VGC player feels weird in a way because a lot of different things are used than in Singles
Lowkey think that shadow ball should have been on here, with the loss of pursuit, and the low distribution of knock off, it's a move that can be endlessly spammed. Even more so since normal types aren't really anywhere to be seen in OU. While it's not an immediate delete button like fiscious rend, I'd argue it's a widely distributed, safe and powered move, that would deserve to be in the conversation.
That’s a good point but imo there aren’t too many spammers of it or that common of it currently imo

After making 3 new teams, I started looking at the various move sets to see what will make my mons do well in battle and support each other.
Idea most innovative sets of all time. For example the legendary choice scarf trick room tech
Cool video, but it would be great if the movement description appeared more time in screen than just half a second, at least to have time to pause it

No ice shard or bullet punch? Feels like those priority moves are basic, but does so much to some mons. Or jet punch?
Palafin is banned but the others, mainly shard I could see
Trick room, rock slide, fake out, aurora veil, last respect, focus miss
Trick room is garbage in singles excluding calyrex ice, rock slide doesn't do that much damage and misses often, fake out isn't good in gen 9 due to the lack of mkanghaskan and mlop, aurora veil is just not worth wasting a slot for ninetales, last respects is banned, focus miss is valid

I just started this video but if I see a damaging move with less than 80% accuracy I'm just gonna disagree immediately
Lose 20% of the time by missing or losing 100% of the time by maxroll leaving opponent with 1% health lol(unless its focus blast)
