It's very easy! Should use plastic push fit for all as it comes in 25/50m lengths for hot/cold H²O & use 10mm t&e as you're going to insulate it

Sounds smart to be fair 😆 nice to have someone there to learn from though. Easy to get in your own head when working alone all the time

I've often wondered why in smallish British kitchens people bother having kitchen islands. I've seen many that just in the way and stop the flow of the kitchen

I honestly agree. For this kitchen, we just don’t have enough worktop space so it’s a way to increase that

@scott_diy I thought the same before doing my kitchen. Then I thought about how I actually use my kitchen. I only every used one area, the rest was clutter space. I got rid of mine. I reduced work space by more than 50%. The kitchen is easier to use and is far tidier as I don't have a large space to spread out

Would the 50mm pipe lead to slower flow rate and more likely to clog up? A smaller standard diameter pipe would mean a faster flow rate, and just build in some access points for rods? Too late now I suppose.

Honestly I’m not sure, but I have made it very easy to access from the outside for rodding

No smaller pipe = higher velocity, not flow rate. More likely to block.

I've never wondered how, because I have erm....... common sense!
