It's a shame that those of use that listened to a LOT of rock and roll in the 60s and 70s only knew Raspberries (HORRIBLE name btw) for "Go All the Way' and Eric for "All By Myself" because these were both lame songs. Just since he died I've heard a lot of FAR better songs including "I Wanna Be With You", "Lets Pretend" and this one....RIP Eric

What an incredibly talented man.. . singer, songwriter, musician. It hurts so much to know that he is no longer with us. Sing with the angels now, Eric as you are one of them. You will never be forgotten and always loved and admired.😭

It was always Eric's voice that got my attention as well as the music. From Raspberries to solo back again to Raspberries again to solo to infinity. I sing as well, in a choir at church, because I'm too shy to sing alone. I've been told I have a good voice and, I think, because of that, I recognize great voices. It was always Eric with the memorable, great voice. Thank you, Eric, for a wonderful gift down the years. You're only 3 years older than me. God Bless!
He demonstrates quite skillfully his vocals going from a soft tender delivery at the beginning to an anguished full-on desperation about her leaving. As a singer myself, I’m in great admiration! ❤️🎶🎤

That entire album was incredible. A classic. There were at least 5 songs on that album that were as good as anything the Beatles ever put out.
